The Boy Who Got Away

Chapter one- High School Hallway- Avalons P.o.v

As usual I'm just standing here invisible to him. The boy who I've always loved. I've loved him forever or years now. I think he thinks I'm invisible because he never bothers to acknowledge my existence. I'm always five steps away, and he always gets surrounded by his friends. I always get scared and avoid him when I'm that close. Maybe I should stick to the boy who's always there for me. Which that boy is my best friend Max. He knows when I'm hurt and when I'm thinking about Daniel.
"Hey Avalon" Max says walking behind me.
I jump and the sound of Max's voice knowing that I'm doing it again.
"Hey Max.. What's up?" I say looking down.
"You're doing it again Avalon, you know he won't notice us. He's too engrossed with them." Max says hugging me from behind.
I fall in his arms finally facing his affection towards me. Which I notice as I do so Daniel finally looks at me and smiles.
"Hey I'll see you after class Max" I look up at him and smile.
"Okay stay safe beautiful" Max says strolling away through the crowd to his class.
On my way to class I bump into someone and fall and drop my books.
"Ow that hurt." Looks down at the new bruises on my knees starting to form.
"Hey you okay?" Someone says holding there hand out to steady me and helps me pick up my books.
As I slowly look up the boy that's looking at me is none other then my crush Daniel. He's holding all my books and he looks like a pure angel too. Out of my reaction I faint as I do he catches me and picks me up.
"Aww I hope you will be okay. I was hoping to get your name, I guess I'll get it when you wake up." Daniel says smiling holding me.
-A few moments later-
I wake up on a nurses cot to bright white lights and someone is sitting next to me. I know it's not Max because he has a stronger buff body.
"Hey it's me Daniel from earlier. You're awake, how do you feel? What's your name by the way?" Daniel says staring at me obviously in love with me the moment he saw me. I started panicking because I know that Max loves me.
"M-my names A-Avalon. I-I didn't think you would ever notice me.." I say nervously.
Before he could answer me Max bursts into the room running up to me and glances at Daniel.
"What do you want? Avalon why is he here?" Max stands behind me pulling me to him.
"Dude calm down she fell and fainted in the hallway and I carried her here." Daniel said looking at me and looking at him.
"Avalon is this true?" Max said backing away from me slowly.
I gasp and pass out on the bed.
"What happened to her man? What did you do?" Max worries holding my hand to his heart.
"I didn't do anything dude, she will be okay I promise, so much has happened to her today give her a break." Daniel smiles at her.
"Why are you smiling at my girl?" Max says wanting her to himself.
"Dude it's okay, but I never heard you ask her out." Daniel says looking at her.
"How would you know? You never even noticed her before today, she liked you for a long time which it's always pissed me off because she's meant to be mine." Max says aggravated with Daniel.
I slowly start to wake up and I see Max argue with Daniel about me.
"Hey boys no fighting over whatever is wrong." I say.
"You're awake. Oh Avalon show Daniel you love me." Max moves closer forcing me to kiss him but before he does so he says "Don't fight me or you won't ever be alone again"
I start to show the sign of fear in my eyes trying to back away as max pulls me hard closer to him.
"Dude get off her! Can't you tell that she doesn't want you to kiss her! Don't force love that will only end in chaos." Daniel has enough strength to push him away from me. "You Maybe her best friend but you shouldn't force how you want her to feel in the relationship."
Max stops and pushes me off the bed in aggravation which causes me to get knocked out again. Which Daniel lifts me up pulling me close to him.
