Chapter 8 Star Gazing

Indi's POV

I woke up early just like Mitch asked me to. I got up and out of my PJs and put on jeans and a red long-slevee shirt and then headed down stairs. I saw Mitch awake at the bottom of the stairs.

"Mitch?" I whispered out. He turned around and smiled at me.

Mitch's POV

"Mitch?" Someone whispered. I turned around and saw Indi there at the top of the stairs. I said it before and I'll saw it again; she's so pretty.

"You ready?" I asked.

"When ever you are." Indi said.

I took Indi's hand and we walked outside to the fornt lawn.

"What are we doing?" Indi asked me.

"Star gazing." I told her.

I quickly went back inside and grab two large blankets and two pillows.

"This early?" She asked.

"Yeah of course." I said.

Indi's POV

Mitch came out with two large blankets and pillows. He set up the area to look up at the night sky.

"Lay down." He said.

I walked over to the blankets and sat down then laid down.

Mitch laid down next to me.

"Wow..." I said in awe.

"What?" Mitch asked.

I pointed at the night sky. "There are a lot of stars." I told him.

"Yeah there sure is." He said.

"Mitch," I started,

Mitch faced me.

"can we stay out here all night?" I asked him.

He smiled at me. "Sure."

I moved closer to Mitch. I closed my eyes and dreamed I was somewhere else with Mitch. Just the two of us.

The song "Don't Wake Me" by Skillet was playing in my head.
I went to bed I was thinking about you

~An hour later~

I felt someone picking me up. I opened my eyes and saw Mitch carrying me inside my house.

"Morning Indiana." He said.

"Morning Mitch." I said back.

I wrapped my arms around Mitch.

"You don't want me to let go." He said.

I shooked my head.

Mitch sat me down on the his bed.

I heard the others coming down the stairs.

"Hey look who it is up this early." Jerome said.

I saw Jerome, Ty, Sky, Jason and Sydeny awake.

"Hey doods." Mitch said.
