"From what I see now, your nose will cut through the murkiest storm they can dish up. What I'm trying to say is, Rudolph, with your nose so bright won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

. . .Evening of December 24th, 1995
Chelsea couldn't wait until everyone would come to her place to celebrate Christmas Eve with her. John called the Santiago family who were extremely happy that Estefan was with John, one of their trusted friends.
The boys were busy in the kitchen and dining room so it gave Chelsea to bolt to her room. She brought down a large paper bag of gifts for everything in the Santiago family, her mother and Andrew. Even John who she slipped into his brown leather shoe that was set by the door. Andrew's was the biggest gift, it was his jacket but she spent the time to patch up the holes and comb the knots in the fur.
It didn't take long after Mr. Santiago appear with a tiny overly fat Christmas tree to rest by the fireplace in the living room two rooms from the front door. When Chelsea's mother came home she was shocked to see Paul. "Palo? John?! What on Earth-"
"Sorry Penny, you're daughter wanted me to cook a turkey for you." John said as he ignored the stare from the three children who all had the same look: Don't bend the truth Doc'.
Ms. Anderson cheeks turned rosy as she smiled, "Just today I'll ignore the fact Chelsea let someone inside the house without my permission. Okay?" Ms. Anderson hugged Chelsea.
John walked to Ms. Anderson who was frozen by the entrance of the kitchen. "Merry Christmas Penny. I wish you luck with-"
Chelsea coughed loudly, she wiggled slyly and pointed up to a mistletoe that hung above her mom and John. "You know the rules."
John let out a laugh before he reached and picked the mistletoe from the string. "While I'm curious how you managed to put the mistletoe up, I better see my son. Tina said she would drop him off around six pm."
"John-wait." Ms. Anderson stopped him as he was about to leave. "Thank you for all of this."
The moment John silently waved goodbye and left, Chelsea wanted to say goodbye dad. She didn't know why so she just flung her arm and called out, "Merry Christmas Dr. John!" Chelsea excepted the door to her house to completely close.
"Buddy!" Kimberly screamed, tears flowed down her cheeks as she scooped Estefan up and hugged him tight. "I'm sorry I yelled. I was in a bad mood. I promise this will be the best Christmas we've ever had."
Mrs. Santiago walked in, she glanced to Ms. Anderson. With their eyes they agreed that they wouldn't punish their children for being completely reckless, but just tonight.
"It's okay sis'. I understand." Estefan smiled as he coiled his arms around her.
Chelsea felt it more than ever.
Through every trial there is always a day to rest.
As long as there's family, there's happiness.
