Underestimated

Maria had been a fighter all her life. Well most, when she was born her mother had disconnected from her father. But when Maria was four, her mom gave her dad full custody because Maria was out of control. When she was 10 she was sent away to a 'prison' like place because she had always gotten into fights, or was disrespectful.

Sanchez is a big name in the boxing/MMA world. By the time Maria was 11 her dad had gotten her into boxing, she trained with him. Where he went, she was right behind him, her dad 'Louis Miguel Sanchez' traveled and of course she was with him.

After a few years Maria's mother 'Julia Sanchez' had contacted her, telling Maria she could come home. But she didn't want to, she was a hot head after all. So of course the only thing she could do to help with her anger was boxing, and her mother never liked fighters; so she stayed with her father.

After Maria turned fifteen years old, Louis got her in the cage. She wasn't perfect for going against someone but it was her first time so she did have some bruising and swelling but she never gave up.

She continued boxing for two years, she was heavy weight champion, her father was proud but upset how she didn't get any sleep, since she was homeschooled and she trained all day, but would stay up all night doing her work for school.

Maria turned a pro boxer when she was seventeen, just like her father. She wanted more, so she convinced her father if she could try MMA, but her father had retired when she started MMA people assumed he had passed since he stopped training at their old gym; not even Maria went there. Why? Because he wanted her to have more privacy so he built her a gym but of course had some help.

Maria's eighteenth birthday, her dad passed away because he had cancer. Two days before her dad was outside with her 'new' trainer talking, which was her uncle.

Her uncle 'Miguel Sanchez' wanted her to go to college but couldn't afford it, so to help out she became a stripper. She wasn't ashamed of it, but it did get into her training time. By the time she was nineteen, Maria was MMA fighter and Boxer; and let's just say, she wasn't terrible at it.

So here was Maria, at the front of a college her uncle wanted her to come to, she was excepted because of her gpa which was 4.1, she is still a stripper because she needs the money. She doesn't know another to get that kind of money except for fighting so she does both.

After one of her fights she was cheated and the other person won; to says she was upset was an understatement. So she went off the grid just like her father, she trained harder and faster. She is one of the best fighters in the boxer world, as for MMA she's almost as good as her father. She didn't hide in her dad's shadows, but embraced the name and became one of the best women pro boxers. She wanted to make him proud after he passed; he was her inspiration.

Maria had started one of her MMA fights the night before she left for college so her face is bruised but she looks tough; to say she won was an understatement, since it was one of the shortest fights she's ever saw or been in.

Maria is stubborn. She's also one of the most dangerous fighters out there, she was someone who never gave up. No matter how hard she was hit she just wouldn't stay down, something she got from her dad. One of the reasons why she was the best boxer, was because she never gave up; knock her down and she got back up. The anger she would feel when was hit, she would make her opponent feel it ten times worse.

Maria got out of the car, she was met with her uncle. He didn't want her to fight all the time, he wanted her life to be some what normal.

"Que te diviertas (have fun)" he said pulling her for hug, she didn't want to be away from him. She never cried unless she wants the person or people to see; she isn't completely heartless. But she let it go and cried into his chest.
