It was a hot and tiring Friday at Cassidy's grandparents house. Her grandparents were cleaning out their garage and they felt tired, so Cassidy came over to help since she only lives a couple houses down from them. After a couple hours of hard work Cassidys grandma told her that she could go swimming in their pool if she'd like. Cassidy couldn't resist swimming during the summer, especially on a day as hot as that Friday. After swimming for at least an hour, Cassidy dried off and made her way back home. As soon as she walked into her house she got hit in the face by the amazing smell of steak. Steak was Cassidys favorite food. Cassidy ran into the kitchen. "Slow down there buckaroo!" Exclaimed Cassidy's mother.
"Sorry mom, I just smelled your amazing, spectacular, mouthwatering steak!"
"Oh your so full of it you little rascal."
They both laughed a bit then began to eat the steak. Cassidy told her mom about all the cool things she had found in her grandparents garage. She also told her mother about how amazing swimming in the pool was, just to rub it in her face. After the ate the steak, Cassidy went up to her room and got out her notebook. She had been planing on writing down her goals that she wanted to achieve before school starts again. She wrote in her notebook:
-Cut hair short and get highlights
-Get cuter and better clothes
-Go on a diet
-Meditate
-Get outdoors more often
-Plant some flowers
-Get more sleep
-Focus more on yourself
Cassidy looked at these goals and got proud of herself. She was already very determined to get these goals done. Cassidy looked at the time and saw that it was already 12:30pm. She decided to start working on getting more sleep so she laid down and drifted away into dream land.
