The van stopped.
Emilia did not lift her head. Drag and the other boys came out. Another elderly man came out from the container to meet them. Drag did not answer the man but walked to the back seat of the van and opened the door. The man nearly screamed when he saw Emilia. Drag closed the door and looked at him.
"What is this, Derrick?," the man whispered.
"I don't know", replied Drag with a frown.
" Isn't that the president's daughter?, Boss' niece? You didn't do the job?". His whisper this time was lower as if not let the words even come out. Drag scratched his head.
"She...I couldn't kill them. It's the first time, dad. I couldn't. When we left she came after us..." The man gave Drag a look.
"Do you think it makes sense?why would she?"
"She wants to know who sent us!".
"Well, we can't take that risk, can we? I'll kill her myself." Drag found himself stopping the man.
"No,no,no. I have a better plan"
"What is that?" Drag opened the door. He pulled Emilia out and released her. She began to stretch herself.
"Here's a brave one. In the den of criminals you're comfortable."
"I trust him," Emilia answered pointing at Drag. "Besides nothing more surprises me. What more can possibly shock...". Emilia stopped her sentence halfway as she saw her uncle walking towards them. "Why is he here? "
"That, Emilia, is our boss. The one who wants you dead," Drag said whispering in her ear but load enough for others to hear. The elderly man met up with Emilia's Uncle. The man, because of only street light there, could see Emilia and she could tell he wasn't happy her heart was still beating.
"Danger, what is this?," Mr Stephan collected the suitcase from his bodyguard. "This here was supposed to be your money. Why didn't you do your job when I told you I'd even double our original agreed amount?"
"Is that the money there?," Mr Stephan turned to Drag. Drag repeated himself and turned the gun to Emilia.
"Yes it is. Her death release this suitcase."
The two guards with Mr Stephan nodded to Drag. With the twinkle of an eye, Drag and the two men opened fire on Mr Stephan. Danger, Emilia, David and Segun were in total shock. They stared at the bullets destroyed lifeless body. The politician was now in the pool of his blood. They heard a police van siren from a distance.
"Matt, the police are on their way, let's move," Drag called out to the guards.
"Segun, drive the van. Dad, get in." Matt, David and Dennis,the other bodyguard entered Emilia's car and drove ahead. While Segun, Drag, Emilia and Danger followed behind in the van.
