The start

Third Person
It was a hot sunny day at camp Campbell, Max was resting in the mess hall under the (air conditioner) AC like the majority of the campers were.
Neil was creating an AC for himself, and MAYBE even Max and Nikki.
And Nikki was keeping him company while also assisting him.

"Neil can we PLEASE take a break? It's way too hot," Nikki wined, dragging out the 'y' in 'way'.
"No, we must continue. It's almost done. We're SO close Nikki. Could you pass me the wrench?" Neil asked. Only giving Nikki a quick glance before returning his attention back to the AC. "Ok then. I'm gonna go head over to Max, cya," Nikki replied, heading for the door "'kay bye," Neil waved, not taking his eyes off of his some-what of an AC.

Nikki walked over to the kind-of-cooler, mess hall. Were she found Max laying on the floor under the overworked AC.
She layed next to him, placing her two hands behind her head.
Max gave her a quick glance, responding with,
"ahhh, it is way to FUCKING hot!" Max groaned, his normal mood plus the heat getting to him. Nikki simply nodded, then asked. "Hey Max?", "what?".
"Did you know there's only two weeks left of camp?" Nikki calmly exhaled. Max chocked at the unexpected news. Then a disturbed expression took over his face,"WHAT!" He spat. "Uhh, Yeah," Nikki nervously laughed, a little shocked at Max' reaction. "I thought he would be happy, all he talks about is getting out of this place" Nikki thinks to herself, just shrugging it off.

Back at the tent, Neil had finished building his AC. He got up and headed to the mess hall just in time for dinner.
Neil got his bland food and sat with his tray at the usual table, Nikki and Max were already at the table 'eating'.

Neil looked down at the full food tray. It had peas, mash potato and two sausages. The mash was runny, gross.
He poked the sausage making a hole in it and immediately oil and 'sausage water' leaks out. "This is fucking gross," Neils thinks disgusted. "Nikki you can have my food" Neil says, pushing the tray towards the shorter girl, "Oh, thanks Neil!" Nikki chirps and digs in to her second tray of food.

Neil rests his head on his hand and spaces out. God, knows what his thinking about.
"Hey Neil what do you think?" Max 'suddenly' asked, after discussing a probably not serious thing with Nikki. Making Neil snap out of his trance, "huh? What?", "God Neil, you gotta get your head outta the clouds," Max says. Neil not wanting to admit his failure just rolls his eyes and huffs.

While that was going on, (Max and Neil talking). Nikki was busy gazing at Ered, with the BIGGEST heart eyes. Nikki was crushing hard on the taller girl. She loved everything about her. From the coloured streak in her hair to incredible skateboard skills she has.
