Waking up to "Love Me Like That" by my best friend is one of the best things ever. Unless it's Saturday. And George Cloony and Harry Potter are fighting over you.
After Ross decided it was time for me to get an iPhone and ditch the flp phone the first thing I did was customize the ringtons.
"Hello?" I answered tierdly. Hey, shes my best friend but she still woke me up on a Saturday.
"Ha! Beat you to it Ross!" Rydel yelled into the backround.
"Delly?" I asked not understanding why my boyfriend and my best friend were fighting to see who could call me first.
"Sorry Laur! " She said turning her attention towards me again.
"So why'd you decied to wake me up when George Cloony and Harry Potter were fighting over me." There was a slight pause. "Dont tell Ross." I added quickly. Rydel laughed knowing how aggravated Ross gets when I bring up my obbessions with Harry Potter and George Cloony.
"I called because I wanted to tell you that next week my family, Ratliff, Alexa, Savanah and I will be in New Yokr for about two weeks."
I paused and counted how many days the would be gone. Just like I thought they're gonna be gone on my one year anniversery with Ross.
I swalled my saddness. "Really?' I asked trying to make myslef belivable. "Thats great!"
Rydel laughed at my lying skills."You're a terrible lier. Know that?" I smiled and quitely said yes.
"Laura, I was'nt calling to brag or anything like that. I wanted to see if you and Vanessa wanted to come with us." Rydel said finally explaining why she woke me up this morning.
Silently, I screamed. "I'd have to check with my parents and asure them that I won't be sleeping in the same room as Ross and aske Vanessa, of course but other hten that we'll be there!" I answerd cheerfully.
I could practically see Rydel's smile. "Great! I'll talk to you later! Bye Laur." After I said goodbye and hung up, I rushed down the stairs to where Vanessa was sitting on the couch reading a book.
"How'd you like to go to New York with Riker?" I asked scaring her so hard she jumped.
"What?" She asked putting her book down.
After I explained what Rydel told me, the two of us were squeeling on the couch.
"Why do you guys seem so happpy?" My parents asked walking in with a whole bunch of bags.
Vanessa and I both started talking really fast at the same time.
"One at a time please." My mother said inturupting both of us.
"So, Rydel called my this morning telling me her family was going to New York for two weeks." I began slwoly.
"And the she invited us to go with them!" Vanessa exclaimed cutting me off.
"Can we go?!" I asked in a loud happy voice.
"We'll share a room with Rydel and Alexa and Savanah!" Nessa added.
My parents looked at each other. "We'll get back to you on that." My father finally decided turning to leave the room.
"No, we won't," my mother objected pulling him back into the room. "Girls, you can go." my moter said leaving the room with my father so Vanessa and I could scream to our hearts desier.
"This is gonna be the best vacation ever!" i screamed jumping up and down.
"Ya!" Vanessa agreed. "Rikers gonna ask me out and then we'll get married and have babies and-"
"Woah, Nessa let's not get to far!" I stopped jumping and giggled. Vanessa smirked.
This is gonna be the best vacation ever!
