3rd person pov

"Jiyoung-ah."

"hmm?"

"Promise me we'll remember each other forever." the boy says as he extends his pinky finger waiting for her to link her finger with his.

"Ok." she says smiling warmly towards the older boy. She links her pinky finger with his and chuckles.

"Why do you look so sad?" she asks and pulls him towards the swings.

"Nothing." he says and smiles.

"Ok." she says even though she knows something is wrong she knows she can't force him to tell her.

"Seokjin." a man says from afar.

"It's time to go." he continues and seokjin gives her a hug before leaving.

Jiyoung pov

"PARK JIYOUNG."

"Oh my god-" I say and snap out of my sleep.

"Go wash your face and get back to class. Make sure you don't fall asleep when you come back." Mrs Kim says and gives me a pass.

"Ok Mrs Kim. Sorry for falling asleep." I say and look down embarrassed.

I walk out of the classroom and go to the toilet.

Time skip

"You must've felt so embarrassed just now lol." Joohyun says and laughs.

I slap her shoulder playfully and frowns annoyed.

"It's not my fault you sleep late." she says and shrugs.

"Shut up."

"Were you dreaming about him again?" she asks and I nod confused.

"I don't get it. I don't even know who this guy is but he keeps appearing in my dreams for no reason?" I say and groaned.

"He was probably someone you knew?" she says

"Idk. Whatever let's just get this school shet over."

"Oi jiyoung." I turn around to find my brother jimin.

"Wow not even a 'hi'? What a good brother." I say and he just smirks.

"Hi." Joohyun says to my brother and he gives a smile back.

"Ey, Jimin hyung." Jungkook says and pats jimin from the behind.

"Hi Jungkook." I say and wave.

"Oh hi shortie." he says and I groan.

"Bro I grow ffs."

"Ok. Did I ask tho."

"Jiyoung can we just get out of here?" Joohyun says as she tugs at the sleeve of my shirt. Oh yea. Jungkook is her ex.

"Oh sure. Sorry." I say and we head back.

Jungkook pov

"Wait-" I say and was about to go after them but stopped after realizing it wouldn't matter.

"You still haven't told joohyun the truth? For god's sake she was extremely sad when you left without reason." Jimin hyung says and sighs disappointed.

"It's not that I don't want to it's just. I just don't know how to tell her."

"Dude you gotta up your game if you want her back." I turn around to be met with Namjoon hyung.

"What?"

"Guys have been hitting on her ever since you guys broke up bro." Namjoon hyung says.

"You didn't know?" Jimin hyung says.

Time skip

Jiyoung pov

It was a Saturday today so I woke up late lmao. Like bruh it's a Saturday why am I not allowed to wake up late.

'knock' 'knock'

"Jiyoung-ah." it was dad. I hum in response.

"I'm going to go visit...mom. Do you wanna come with me and jimin?" he says and I look down thinking.

"Ok. I'll get ready." I say and he gives a small smile.

I get up and started to get ready.

Time skip

"Jiyoung-ah we're here." Dad wakes me up and I got out of the car with a bouquet of baby breath.

We walked pass the other tombstones and stopped at one that was near a tree.

"Hi Mom." I say tearing up.

"I brought you some flowers this time. It's you favourite type of flower." I say and put it beside her tombstone.

"How are you? We're all doing fine at home. We miss you a lot. Especially your cooking." My father says and we chuckle.

"Dad can cook too but it's nothing compared to your cooking."

"I miss those times when you would let me cry on your shoulder whenever I'm stressed or not in my right mind." I say and without noticing a tear slid down my cheeks.

"But I'll be fine. We all will be fine. So don't worry." I say before wiping away the tears that start to fall down one by one.

"Hi mom. It's jimin. I'm no longer that short jimin you know. I grew a lot in the past few years. I'm still kinda short tho." He says and stops. Tears were threatening to fall from his eyes.

"I miss you so much." He says and starts sobbing.

"I love you, mom." He says and we all take our leave after dad says a few words to mom.
