8: i'm with you

Joanna's heart started to beat fast, Jaehyun was holding onto her waist. Normally if someone did this she wouldn't feel a thing.

"J-Jaehyun, what are you doing?"

"I'm not letting you go"

"Are you out of your mind"

Jaehyun let out a little laugh as he let Joanna go, he walked to the table which had a bottle of wine and a few glasses

"It's not like I'm gonna eat you"

"Of course,I know! You're not like that"

"I mean, at least for now, I won't"

"Mr.Jaehyun also has unknown sides I see"

"I'm a guy after all"

"Yeah right, I'll get going"

"But I said I'm not letting you go"

Joanna turned around, Jaehyun poured wine in two glasses, walked to where she was standing and offered one to her. Joanna took it

"Why don't we have a talk?"

'What does he want to talk about?'
He took his own glass and pressed a button to the wall. The large glass window opened revealing the beautiful night sky

Along with the night sky, they could also see the city lights. It reminded her of the rooftop scene. Jaehyun walked to the terrace which was actually part of the room

"So amazing"
Joanna walked to where Jaehyun was. The breeze was slowly blowing, it really was refreshing. But right now Joanna had questions in her mind. She looked at him

"Just like you"

Joanna smile-laughed . Inside she was suprised. She had read Jaehyun's history with girls. It didn't look like he had ever been in love

Although he had slept with a lot of women. He is that type of person. But right now he's not doing anything to Joanna rather he just wants to talk to her

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"Tell me about yourself"

"You can just ask Ten"

"I'm pretty sure, there are still things about you that he doesn't know"

"Maybe"

"When I look into your eyes, I see a lot of sadness"

For a second Joanna stayed quiet. She thought about it, what should she tell him? Actually a lot had really happened

15 years ago..

Joanna was lying on the hospital bed. She was going to get a heart surgery. Her dad was standing next to her. She looked at him

"Dad?"

"Yes Joanna?"

"Am I going to die?"

"No,you're not"
Joanna's father held her hand and gave it a small kiss

"Joanna, you won't die. This surgery will be successful"

Joanna had a weak heart since she was born. The doctors said she would die within 6-8 years. Right now she was 5 years old

As she grew older and older, her heart became weaker and weaker.

"Joanna listen, once you wake up"

"Things will get really hard for you"

"Promise me you have to remain very strong"

"I will"

The doctors stepped in and Joanna's dad hugged her one last time. He looked really sad, as if he was about to cry. He told Joanna he loves her and said goodbye
