Yoichi x Keitaro (Our Second Term)

Chapter 3

"Keitaro?" 

 I open my eyes, and saw Yoichi's big purple eyes looking down at me. I smiled seeing him, and I sat up.

"Are you hungry?" Yoichi asked.

"Y-yeah I guess I am a bit," I said.

"Lets go to the mess hall, they are serving pizza," Yoichi said, trying to make me hungrier.

"Ok, I'm getting up!" I said. 

I stood up, Yoichi helped me too my feet. We walked outside, and the sun was setting. Yoichi held me close to him as we walked. The summer evening air felt good, because the cabins were hot.  When we got there we saw Eli talking to someone.

"Lets go talk to Eli!" I said.

"Alright, Keitaro," Yoichi said.

We walked to Eli, and who he was talking to. When Eli saw us he greeted us with a warm smile. He shyly waved at us, and the other boy stared at us.

"Eli, who are they?" he asked.

"Aiga, these are my friends! There names are Yoichi and Keitaro," Eli said.

"Oh they look like competition!" Aiga said, cracking one of his knuckles.

"NO NO NO! They are friends!" Eli said.

"Um..."

"Oh sorry Keitaro, Aiga here gets jealous easily," Eli said.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Yoichi asked.

Eli's face went red. Aiga put one hand on Eli's shoulder, and smiled.

"Of course he is!" he said.

"AIGA!" Eli buried his face into his hands.

Then Natsumi, Hunter, and Hiro walked in. Hiro still looked mad, and when he saw me he looked annoyed. 

"Making a new best friend already! I knew you could replace someone that easy," Hiro said.

"N-NO! I am allowed to be friends with others," I said.

"TORCH HEAD SHUT UP!" Yoichi yelled.

The room went quiet, and everyone looked at us. Eli and Aiga walked away from us. Hiro just stormed off flipping me off. I felt so embarrassed and awful, so I ran out of the mess hall. While I was running out I could hear Natsumi lecturing Yoichi.

When I was out of the of the mess hall I went to the pier. I sat down on the dock, and looked at the dark water. The sun had fully set, so it was dark out. The only light I had was the moon. I was very sad, and I was very embarrassed. I was not mad at Yoichi. I knew he was only defending me. Thinking about it mad me sadder. I just sat there staring into the water.

"K-Keitaro?"

"Hi Yoichi..."

"Are you alright?"

"No.."

Yoichi sat next to me, and sat me on his lap. I looked at him, and I saw a relived feeling on his face. I kissed him on the cheek.

"I wasn't mad," I said.

"I thought you were," Yoichi said.

"I'm sorry..." I said.

"It's alright. We don't need that Torch head. As long as we have each other I don't need anyone else," Yoichi said, "Well except the pups,"

His joke made me laugh softly. Then he put his hand behind my head, and pulled me in for a kiss. I put my arms around his chest, as he put his around my waist. I rapped my legs around his waist. 

This was not a sexy moment. This kiss was different. 

It was love.

Calm.

True.

Yoichi's soft lips were against mine, and it made me feel better. I held tight onto Yoichi, and he stood up me still on him. I clung onto him, and he carried me to our cabin. 

We got inside, and we saw others inside. Eli, Aiga, and Athena were in there. Natsumi and Hunter were there too. Then I saw Hiro there staring at us.

"Whoa!" Eli said, "What were you guys doing,"

"Nothing naughty I hope," Aiga said.

"N-no nothing like that," I said.

Yoichi let me onto my feet, and I went to my bed. I got under the covers, and went to sleep. Today was the worst, but alright. I was glad I had Yoichi in my life, but Hiro not being my friend hurt. Is Yoichi right about being friends with Hiro? Do I need Hiro in my life? THIS IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE!
