Emily POV: I woke up to a text from Gabi. I sighed and we went to the auditorium to rehearse with everyone. I was helping Ryan go through the dance again when Miss Darbus spoke up about Gabriella not being here. Sharpay has to step in and he looks miserable. Kelsi tries to cheer him up but I sighed. Me and Troy went home but I walked out the door and head back to the school.

Troy POV: I followed Emily. She went to the auditorium and I went to the gym. I put my Basketball top on.

"Miss Darbus, what are you doing here?" "Re-balancing how Sharpay is being Gabriella. And you?" "Wondering what to do." "Well, it was your sister who signed you up because she said something that I wouldn't have thought." "What was that?" "Her exact words, I was the one to sign Troy put because I want him to realise that it doesn't have to be basketball all the time even though my dad says. He needs to decide himself." "Emily was looking out for me." "She deeply cares about you. She played basketball because you and dad asked her to she didn't want to be disappointed by you. Come, I know we are expecting another performance."

Emily POV: I started to make my way to the auditorium and walked on to the stage. I put the spotlight on and walked to the centre. I started to sing.

The next day, I went to school and rehearse my song without no one knowingn except Kelsi who help with the music. They know I am doing a solo but Miss Darbus say it is a surprise.
