The Date pt.2

Daniel's POV
Kira is such a social type of party girl so I wanted to take her to a fair. She loves the Ferris wheel the most and the funnel cakes their, so why not take her. When I pull up her apartment I play the song "invitation" in my car and she opens her door smiling and laughing at me. "So, will you take my "invitation" and go on a date with me?" I say putting on my cheesy smile. "Omg, Daniel, your so cheesy. But of course I would go with you!" Kira says laughing while between her sentences. I interlock our fingers and open the car door for her. She thanks me and I close it and run to my side and we make our way to the fair on this lovely evening. We arrive at the crowded fair and got out wristbands to enter. Kira immediately drags me to the Ferris wheel and waits on the surprisingly short line. As we reach the top, the ride stops all of a sudden and then we figure out we got stuck. "Omg Daniel, we're so high up!" Kira gets scared by some things but can be a tough cookie sometimes. "It's ok, I'm right here, we'll be down in a jiffy. Don't worry about it." I reassure her.

"Daniel, it's been 13 minutes, when's re they gonna let us down?" She whines laying her head on my chest. The ride jerks forward a bit which makes her head leave my chest. "Omg what a miracle! We're gonna be ok!" She praises in glee. "I've been telling you that the whole time!" She laughs at my reply. As soon and we get off, we go on almost every ride and played some games that honestly kinda made my pockets hurt by the amount of retries pic she did. ("Make his pockets hurt" lol) "Omg I'm so stuffed by the funnel cake and I'm sorry about all of the stuffed animals your carrying. I told you I can hold some, Dani." Kira tells me. "No, baby, you deserve all of this and I'm a gentleman, so I'm carrying them," I say. "If you say so, babe," she goes on her tippy ties and kisses my cheek. "Thanks for all of this babe," she says. "As I said, you deserve it."
