BeepThe sound of the door unlocking had rang through the now silent hallway. "Mr. Kye, here is your floor. Maximum security." the guard had spoken. Songjin breathed out shakily, this was all a mistake and he did not deserve to be in this building. He tried to tell the judge that but she didn't want to hear it.
Songjin raised his gaze from the ground to the dimly lit hallway. The guard pushed him forward. Nearly tripping over his own feet, Songjin had slowly started walking. The lights hanging from the ceiling turned on with every step he took. While passing by the other cells he saw exactly 7 boys peacefully sleeping. It was currently 12 in the morning so it wasn't unusual.
The duo had stopped in front of the last cell, Cell #1. All the way on the end of the hall so that everytime Songjin wanted to walk back to his cell he would see the faces of his floor mates.
"Make yourself comfortable, you wake up at 10, go to breakfast at 10:30, and shower 20 minutes after that. And since you're on maximum level," the Guard had leaned forward to breathe softly on Songjin's neck since he was taller, "I get to watch you shower 'cause I monitor you."
Songjin could his meal from a few hours ago rising in his throat. He gulped nervously and waited for the guard to be done unlocking his cell door. 'Watching me shower...'
"All done pretty boy, there's only a few cracks on the wall but it's better than the rest of the cells."
Songjin didn't even bother running away when the guard unlocked his cuffs. He walked into the small room and looked around. It was a plain white room with no windows and only one bar door to get out from.
So even if Songjin wanted to be difficult and escape his fate, he wouldn't be able to.
"Well, I'll leave you to sleep. Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite."
And with that the door was closed and Songjin was stuck in the confined room for the rest of his life. Only taking short trips to eat his sadness away and shower away his guilt.
He sat on the bed that only felt like bricks and ran his hands through his hair. 'The rest of my life in here...and I'm only 24.'
Songjin felt tears welt up in his eyes but he blinked them away as best as he could. He stretched slightly and started positioning himself to lay down. He could already feel his back getting sore but he continued to squirm around to find a comfortable position.
He sighed in defeat after finally settling on laying on his back and staring at the ceiling. Songjin closed his eyes warily and could feel his mind slipping into space. Before he was completely out he heard a giggle echo through the quiet hallway.
No one could predict the things that would happen to him in this place
