Operation Save Ash

Chapter 3: Ash's life is saved and a love story is created

Right now, Caitlin, Pikachu, and Gothitelle have just reached the Pokemon Center with Ash still being carried in Gothitelle's Physic. When Nurse Joy saw the injured Ash Ketchum, her face had a worried expression as she asked Caitlin, "What happened to him?". "I don't know what happened, I was looking for some Physic Type Pokemon when I heard his Pikachu calling and I walked over there and found him like this" came her response. Nurse Joy nodded, and then she went to get a stretcher for Ash. When she came back with the stretcher, Caitlin told Gothitelle to place Ash on the stretcher. Gothitelle nodded and placed Ash on the stretcher gently. Nurse Joy then wheeled him into the emergency room to try and save the young trainer's life. 4 hours later, Nurse Joy came out of the emergency room. "How is he?" asked a worried Caitlin. "He will live to fight another day" came Nurse Joy's answer. Caitlin then smiled. "However, it will be a long road for Ash to fully recover. He has deep cuts on his right arm and forehead, and he has a very serious knee injury. The cuts have been covered with bandages, while his left knee will take 6 to 9 months to be healed" added Nurse Joy. "Oh, I feel really bad for Ash" said Caitlin as she was very concerned for her crush's health.

"However, he will be allowed to leave tomorrow, so if you want him to stay at your place, he can" said Nurse Joy. "I will take care of Ash, I promise" said Caitlin as she agreed to take care of Ash at her place. The next day, not only was Ash awake for the first time since the Krookodile attack, he was shocked to see the Physic Type member of the Unova Elite 4, Caitlin, right next to him holding on his right hand tightly. He had seen her battle with Cynthia the first time he was in Unova, but never got the chance to meet her in person. He had a worried look on his face as he thought Caitlin was going to make his injuries worst. "Don't worry Ash, I'm not going to hurt you, besides, you're injured enough" said the Elite 4 member. Ash then smiled as Caitlin was going to take care of him. "In fact, you are going to my place for 6 to 9 months since you are seriously injured. What happened to you?" asked Caitlin. Ash then told her that he was attacked by a bunch of wild Krookodile while he was setting up his camp. Caitlin then gasped at this information. She couldn't believe her crush was attacked by a bunch of Dark/Ground-Type Pokemon. She then unexpectedly kissed Ash on the lips, making him blush in embarrassment.

After a minute of kissing him, Caitlin said, "You want to know why I did that?" Ash then nodded. "You see Ash after Cynthia told me about you, I fell in love with you, and I was hoping that we would become boyfriend and girlfriend, after all, we are the same age" Caitlin added. "Of course, Caitlin, I am willing to become your boyfriend. After all, you saved my life after I was attacked by the wild Krookodile herd" Ash answered when he and Caitlin kissed each other on the lips. Once the new couple left the Pokemon Center with Ash using a crutch to support his injured left knee, they went to Caitlin's house in Undella Town so Caitlin can take care of her new boyfriend's injuries.
