chapter 3

Kelyn's POV
Why does mattia not stop dick riding me ?thinking he can just get into everyone's pants. He texted me as soon as Ale gave him my number what a simp.
but should i text him back ?
i thought about what i was getting myself into but i didn't care, fuck it. i pulled my phone out and texted him. I felt like an imbecile, it had been 10 minutes and he hadn't responded to my text. I knew it was dumb anyways, one thing i know for sure is he most definitely ain't getting anything from me.I was so distracted by all these thoughts tormenting my head that i didn't even hear the bell ring. Kathryn tapped my shoulder and i quickly came back down to earth. "huh?" i ask zoned out. "Lunch kelyn" she says pointing at the clock that read 12:08 pm.
i took a deep breath, grabbed my bag and left the classroom. I had C lunch i hated it , it was crowded with bodies Kathryn, and Sydney were no where to be found as i scanned the lunchroom; i guess they just didn't have my lunch. As i grabbed my food i peeped from the corner of my eye somebody trying to get my attention.
"Kelyn !" a familiar voice called out. I slowly turn around to only be called by Alejandro, of course he was calling me over.. Mattia was over there. Not only Mattia but their whole friend group my anxiety levels could not take it.

i walked over confused to their table, "sit with us" they insisted. I shook my head from side to side pretty fast, Mattia laughed and pulled me towards him. "Sit next to me" he smiled while saying it. I didn't know anybody else in the school so it was either them or a table with weirdos. I sat down at their table " So kelyn, what are you doing after school ?" Mattia questions. "not you" i say biting into my apple. His friends thought it was funny and mocked him about it. He grinned, "spend a day with me , just get to know me" he says lightly. "Mattia getting soft ?" Kairi jokes with a chuckle. Mattia lightly punched his arm and mouthed him to shut the fuck up, it was amusing.
Him and his friends obviously didn't know i was an orphan who literally just got adopted the day before entering this school. I felt like it was a touchy subject to go straight into , knowing them they would probably make jokes about how i had to jump foster home to foster home i understand it's not just something that happens with any kid. "hm" i mumbled under my breath. " Matter of fact there's a party being thrown tonight i'll send you the addy" he boldly says as if i was going to accept his offer, before i even spoke out the bell rung it's almost as if he planned it.

after school

Kathryn's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Mariano's message, it filled me up with butterflies. As i was driving home Kelyn's face expression seemed odd. "what's on your mind ?" i ask while i fix my eyes on the road. "Mattia invited me to this party tonight, i didn't have a chance to give him an answer but i'm not sure if i should go" she groaned.

I sighed, "seriously ? he already invited you to some dumb party" i laughed , "Mar texted me earlier today he said he wants to chill with me we'll see how this goes" i firmly grabbed the wheel. She smiled at me while teasing me about him.
We eventually got home, and i saw Mar just waiting for me outside of my home. Kelyn introduces herself and so did he, she later walked inside and greeted our parents while i was left outside with Mar. "hey" i say with my cheeks slightly blushing. He didn't say a word , he wrapped his arms around me and tightly hugged me. Mar had been out of town for a couple of days today was my first time seeing him back you could say we were pretty close.

"i've missed you goofy" he declared with that perfect smile of his. He suggested to take me to our towns ferris wheel that was recently built. I nodded. " How's it been with Ale ?" he continued. "Don't even bring his name up, i hate him Mar he's an ass it's fuck him for real now" I snapped. " You know everyone still talks about how he's head over heels for you still right ? " he recalled. I rolled my eyes, "yea alright, i'm over him anyways and my interests have moved onto somebody better" i emphasized. I couldn't believe those words came out of my mouth.
