On a recent vLive, Aurelia talks about the image SM gave her and the hardship she had to go through because of the given image.
She stated that SM have her a edgy, cold, and fashionista image. But the thing was, Aurelia did fit in any of the concept she had been given. At the time, she was very bright, and unfashionable. She was nowhere near to be called edgy and cold.
As she didn't meet the standards of the image she had been given, SM told her to either make it happen or not debut at all. She decided to change herself because she didn't want to train when she already spent half of her life under SM.
She studied edgy fashion trends and popular brands to what fits her edgy fashionista image. As for her cold image, she just smiled less.
