Chapter 3

At her aunts news Angela ran and hugged her tight. Things might look Angela's way afrer all. All her life from her mother's job she had learnt alot about funding and NGOS. She knew alot of countries and has visited some as well. She knew alot of famous places. Most of all her knowledge and curiosity about the world is way above average. So you can obviously guess when her aunt told her someone from a world funding program is visiting the village her suprise and happiness.She knew her parents have left her quite a bit of money.So if she gets accepted she can easily pay the fees.Angela was over the moon.

That afternoon a limo rolled in. The men inside the car was getting out in rather a weird manner they came out of the roof of the car.That drew a collective gasp from around the village.Mothers were pushing there daughters from behind their backs eager for them to get chosen to study around the world.Aunty however did not let Angela come to meet the professors. Steaming with determination and anger Angela decided that she did not care what her aunt thought and that she will go to
village. "Nobody can stop me following my dream!"Angela thought stoutly. With that she held her head high and marched out of the house into the village.She winced as she saw aunty's angry face.Never mind she will deal with that later now she needs to get that scholarship. The men looked around the village and decided immediately that no one is suitable. The older professor (later known as Robert )suddenly caught sight of a scrubby girl next to scowling woman.With tons of experience he knew this girl is worth interviewing.2 hours later Angela came out of the study beaming for all she was worth.SHE HAD GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP!Then she caught sight of her aunts crestfallen face.The destiny!She had forgotten all about it. There is no way she could leave her dream now after all of her hard work.The rest of the week passed in uneasy silence with her aunt.Angela was reduced to tears every time she saw her aunts sad scornful face.They both had a pride they had to live up to.Angela was to leave for the program at the start of next year.One day about 4 months after Angela got accepted. She saw the young girl she had seen so many times.Angela had always seen her either telling someone what to do or helping with something around the village.By this time Angela was desparate to find someone ready to run the village, so far all the young girls are a huge disappointment. This girl looked promising.With an unusual chirpy voice Angela told her aunt about the idea she had.Surprisingly her aunt agreed with her.A week later the young girl now has a destiny. Angela quietly thought to herself, "now I have my wings, today i can fly away with freedom in my hands!"🌻🦋🌻🦋🌻🦋
