(Sorry, quick note! (F/c) is favorite color. Enjoy!)

Adrien woke up, stretching slowly. Why was he so tired? He had no reason to be. He remembered crashing onto his bed and falling asleep almost immediately. He went to bed at the regular ti-. Nope. He didn't go to bed at the regular time. His memories from last night came flooding back. Accidentally waking (y/n) up. Talking with her. Calling her princess. Adrien smiled softly. (Y/n). She was so nice. She was such a good friend. Did she go to Françoise Dupont School? He'd just have to wait and see. He had to go downstairs to eat breakfast and leave anyways. It would just push back the thoughts.

20 minutes earlier, (y/n)'s perspective

(Y/n) woke to the alarm on her phone chiming off a cheery tune. She grumbled, wanting to snuggle under the covers a little while longer. The first day of school was never fun. Especially when she had no friends to talk to at school. She certainly couldn't talk to Chat Noir! He didn't go to school, did he? She wouldn't know even if he did. (Y/n) pulled off the covers, shivering at the cold outside of them. She pulled of her pajamas in exchange for a pair of black leggings and an ombré white and (f/c) shirt. She pulled on her short ankle boots, stuffing her tennis shoes into the bag just in case she had P.E.. Yanking on a jacket, she packed a small lunch and grabbed a banana on the way out. Locking the door behind her, she ran to school, afraid to be late. As she arrived, the bell rang, and students began to walk to their classes. (Y/n) had no idea where to go. The numbering for the classes was strange. How was she ever supposed to find the principal's office, let alone her classes? She started panicking. Someone tapped her on the shoulder. (Y/n) spun around, going down into a karate stance.
"Woah! Are you new here?" The girl's blue eyes stared into (y/n)'s (e/c) ones.
"Yeah. Sorry for almost punching you."
"It's alright. I'm Marinette. If you know how to punch and stuff like that, you should join the Karate Club."
"I'm (Y/n). As much as I think the Karate Club would be cool, I don't know how to do it. I just know just self-defense stuff."
"That's not true. You threw a pretty nasty kick yesterday when you were fighting Lone Wolf."
"Yea- Wait! How do you know that I fought Lone Wolf?"
Crap, Marinette thought. Ladybug knew that she had kicked the villain, but as far as (y/n) knew, Marinette did not.
"Oh! Alya, my friend, she writes a Ladybug blog. She recorded most of the fight and I watched it and I saw a girl kick Lone Wolf. When you turned around I realized that you look a lot like her."
"That makes sense. But yeah, I'm new. Do you know where the principal's office is?"
"Yeah! I'll walk you there!" Marinette started walking, and (y/n) trailed behind her. Marinette knocked on the principal's door.
"Come in!" A voice came from the other side of the door.
"Hello, I am Mr. Damocles."
"I am (y/n). I am new here."
"Welcome, (y/n). I only wish you had come at a better time."
"What do you mean, Mr. Damocles?"
"Well, you do not know this, (y/n), but we are getting close to the winter break, which means you will not have much school time. I'm afraid you might not be able to take exams. If this is the case, you will have to come into school extra to catch up on what you have missed."
"... I understand, Mr. Damocles. I am prepared to come in to learn extra in a worse-case-scenario."
"Good. I am excited to have you as a pupil. As for you, Marinette...."
(Y/n) has forgotten Marinette was in the room.
"I will let your tardiness slide this time as you were helping the new student. But, if this happens anytime other than this week, you will be counted late."
His tone of voice and emphasis made the two girls shiver. Marinette and (y/n) thanked the principal, leaving quickly.
"What's your first class?" Marinette peered at the girl's schedule over her shoulder.
"Um... English." (Y/n) pointed at it, turning it so that the bluenette could see.
"Cool, you have Mrs. Bustier, just like me! Let's go!" Marinette grabbed her wrist and pulled her along behind her until they got to the classroom.
"You ready to meet the rest of the class?"
"I-I guess. I just hope they're as nice as you." (Y/n) stuttered, and the other girl thanked her. Marinette pushed the door open, revealing the auburn-haired teacher.
"Oh, hello! You must be a new student! And Marinette, this is the fourth time this mo-" "I have a pass from Mr. Damocles!"
"Very well. Sit down, Marinette. As for you, why don't you introduce yourself to the class!"
(Y/n) turned to face the class. "H-hello, my name is (y/n). I moved here from (h/t) yesterday."
"Wow! (H/t) is pretty far! Tell us more about there!" The teacher questioned.
"Well, there was always something to do, even if it was to just sit and do nothing. The thing I miss most, though, is my friends."
"Well, I'm sure that some of the students in this class would be happy to be friends with you!"
(Y/n) smiled at everyone, and caught Marinette's eye. The girl gave her a thumbs up.
"Students, back to work. (Y/n), you can sit with Marinette and Alya." As she walked to her seat, Adrien could see her left hand grip her right forearm behind her back. Even though she believed she had done fine, she was still nervous. Seemed like that was her on a day-to-day basis. Adrien smiled at her, and (y/n) timidly smiled back.
As (y/n) went to all her classes, she found that Marinette and Alya were in almost all her classes. In the first half of the day, they were in 2 of 3 of her classes. The only class they weren't in in the morning was art. As she walked to lunch, (y/n) hoped that school lunch here was better than at her old school.
As she walked into the lunchroom, her boots clicked on the tile floor, causing a few people to look up at her.
"Hey, (y/n)! Come sit with us!" Alya waved her over and she jogged over, her shoes tapping loudly. (Y/n) plopped down on the seat gratefully. She had been afraid that she would have to sit alone.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce you to the boys! This is Adrien, and this is Nino." Alya gestured to each.
"Nice to meet you both!" She smiled at both of them, causing Adrien to blush a little. Wait, why am I blushing? Adrien thought to himself. This wasn't happening, right?

Time skip to last class of the day

(Y/n) walked cautiously into the classroom, but was quickly happy as there were so many instruments on the walls.
"Hello! Are you (y/n)? I was told we were having a new student!"
"Yes, I am!"
"Good! Welcome to music!" As she walked deeper into the classroom, (y/n) saw a pair of orange shoes that looked familiar. Walking over, your suspicions were confirmed when you saw his blonde hair and green eyes.
"Adrien? You take music?"
"(Y/n)! Yeah, I take it because my father wants me to 'continue to develop my skills'." He air-quoted his father's words, making her laugh.
"What about you, (y/n)? You take music?"
"Yep! I can play the flute, the ukulele, a little piano, and I used to play the violin. I'm a little rusty now." She smiled at him.
"That's a lot of instruments! Can you show me?"
"Oh, um, sure." He realized that he had caught (y/n) off-guard.
"You don't have to if you want to...."
"No, it's fine. Let me go get the ukulele." She walked over to the wall, pulling down a dark wooden ukulele from its wall hook. Strumming slowly, she played (f/c), singing softly with it.
"Woah.... That was awesome! You didn't tell me that you sang!"
"Well... people have told me tha-"
"ADRIKINS!" Chloe ran over, hugging him around the neck. "Why are you talking to the shy new girl? You deserve to talk to me!"
"Chloe, she was just showing me something."
"And I'm not shy!" (Y/n) retorted.
"Yeah, yeah, sure. 'I-I am (y/n) and I am so shy that I won't even look to meet other people's eyes!' Ha! You are ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" As Chloe sashayed away, (y/n)'s eyes started to fill with tears.
"Don't cry! If you get sad, you'll get Akumatized!"
She quickly dried her tears, thinking about Chat Noir. She laughed, thinking about the silly cat.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh, I was just thinking about a friend I made yesterday. He's so sarcastic, but it's funny!"
Is she thinking about me? Well, not this me, but maybe other me?
"Oh, cool. Do I know him?"
"Who doesn't?"
"So I'm guessing that it's' someone popular?"
"Yeah it's-" Briinnngggg! The bell rang, signaling the end of school.
"I gotta go, (y/n). I have a photo shoot today. Talk to you tomorrow!"
"Bye!" She waved to him as she walked away, a huge grin covering her face.
"Oh, I see...." Alya snuck up behind her.
"What do you mean?" (Y/n) turned around to face Alya, her smile dissolving into a look of confusion.
"You like him, don't you?"
"No, no, no. He is my friend. Besides, doesn't Marinette like him?"
"No, she likes Luka."
"Oh. Hey, are you doing anything tonight? I need some help finishing setting up my house."
"Wait, you have a house?"
"Well, it's not really a house. It's more like a apartment. But yeah, I live alone because my parents are back in (h/t)."
"Cool. But sure, I'll come over. Hey, maybe we can invite the whole gang! It'll be fun!"
"Sure! See you later, Alya!"
"Bye, (y/n)!"
(Y/n) walked back to the apartment, unlocking the door. She needed to text someone.
(A.N. Sorry for interrupting, but italics is you texting and bold is Chat Noir.)
Hey Chat
Hey princess
Wanna come over later tonight
I have some friends coming over to help me finish organizing
But you can come after if you want
I'll be there
Alright then
Talk to you then?
Yep
Bye
Bye
(Y/n) placed her phone on the already cluttered counter. Soon, Alya texted saying that she and Marinette as well as Nino and Adrien were coming over, and asked for the address. After texting her the address, (y/n) started tidying up, cleaning up clothes from the floor as well as taking out the trash. A knock sounded on her door, and she ran to get it.
"Hey guys! Glad you made it!"
"Yeah, dudette!" Nino exclaimed, and you all laughed. The five of you walked into your apartment, and immediately started cleaning while talking. Finally, after half an hour, you were finished. You flopped onto the ground of your room, the rest of the gang joining you on the floor.
"Thanks for coming over!"
"You're welcome. You needed help, girl. Especially because you just got here yesterday. Of course you had boxes!" Alya pointed out the obvious, and you playfully shoved her shoulder. Suddenly, a phone buzzed. Adrien pulled out his, then frowned.
"Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but my father wants me back right now. He needs me to practice Chinese." He frowned.
"I forgot that I am getting another turntable in the mail today!" Nino jumped up, excited.
"Shoot! I have to go babysit my sisters!" Alya panicked, running around.
"My mom says I need to come help man the bakery."
"Bye!" The four of them simultaneously told her before leaving, the door closing behind him.
"... Bye." She smiled at the door, but it turned into a frown. All of her friends had left at once. Still, Chat Noir would come later. Right?
(Hey guys! Hope you guys are good. Can't wait to talk to you again next post. Peace out, my stars!)
