The end of the world they knew

It was a normal day Hinata had gotten home from practice and was having a snack with nastu. "Oni-chan," she said eating her cookie "yes" he looked over at her "mommy seems worried, why". The fact is that their mother had been worried about the announcement they heard over a week ago.

"Attention everyone this is a nation announcement" he heard from the t.v late at night. But i didn't hear the rest cuz Natsu came into his room saying she had a nightmare.

"Oni-chan are you ok" "yes im fine and im sure mos is to don't worry," he said fluffing up her hair.

But he knew deep down nothing was ok, nothing is ok, there were small whispers everywhere that something bad was happening or was going to happen. And every time he got close to figuring it out something else would show up, and lose it.

Before he knew it Hinata's world was on fire and crashing down around him.

Shoyo awoke from a loud bang outside, he ran to the window to look. There was a huge fire at least 17 miles away. He then heard Natsu crying and ran to her room to see his mom was already there trying to comfort her. "Oni-chan" she called out when she saw him so he sat beside her and mom. "what's going on," he asked, there were small tears in her eyes "you need to run and take your sister with you". "what, why, what about you" "I'll be fine just pack your thinks and get your sister out of here and fast" she ordered.

They then heard another loud bang much closer, the ground was shaking. "You need to leave now shoyo plz" "what's going on" there was another explosion this making the House shack and pieces of the walls and ceilings started to fall.

His mom looked him in the eyes, begging him to listen for once and not be stubborn. He slowly nodded and ran to his room with nastu following close behind him, there mom running to somewhere in the house. He grabbed a bag and gave it to Natsu "go put your clothes in here ok" she nodded and ran back to her room. He grabbed another bag for his things and started to pack as mom had said, he heard another explosion go off much closer making the house shack more violently.

He finished packing his clothes and items with sentimental value. He heard a crash from somewhere in the house signaling it was falling apart "no-no-no" he pulled the bag over his shoulder and ran out of his room and into the living room it now had a huge hole in the ceiling. His Mom had run into the living room holding a small box in her hands, Natsu then ran in as well. "Mom what's going on" she opened her mouth to answer but then the tv that wasn't turned off yet had the emergency screen on it.

"As we know it the world has ended" the voice on the tv explained, "almost half the population is now dead, this may be hard to hear but it's the truth and the government has shut down" another bomb had fallen as he finished the sentence and it went silent, there was only the ringing in his ears. He fell to the ground from the impact of the blow and could feel debris falling around him, he hoped that none of it fell on to his mom or baby sister.

His vision blurry but he could still see in the corner of his eye his sister's orange hair. I tried to get up but fell telling a sharp pain in his legs he looked back to see there was a wooden beam laying on his legs "fuck this can't happen" he yelled as more of the ceiling fell. "Shoyo" he heard his sister call out "Natsu hey it's ok im right here" he called out to her. He tried to turn and lift the beam off of his legs, after a minute or two of wiggling he finally got out from under the beam.
