Sunday, 6:40 am.

"Wake up!"

"We'll be late for the mass!"

"Mina! Get your butt out of the bed already!"

Indistinct voices were heard as I open up my eyes to meet up with the cold morning breeze and bright sunlight coming from the bedroom window. It was always a challenge for me to get out of bed easily, although I sleep at nine o'clock. I always end up over sleeping.

"fix the bedsheets that you used! Your cousins are staying over today!"

I lazily sat up from my bed and mumbled a "yes" before starting to fold my bedsheets. The soft cotton makes me want to sleep more but I can't, We'll be late for the morning mass this sunday. I then shiftlessly made my way to the bathroom to wash up my face and get ready.

What should I wear today? It's pretty cold here.. especially in the morning.
I thought as I shoved my face in my closet, finding the perfect outfit to wear.

Maybe I should just wear plain leggings and an oversized tshirt from my brother.

I hurriedly ran to my brother's room and into his closet. "Karmina!", he yelled as he noticed me running like if there was an angry dog chasing me. "what? let me just borrow one tshirt of yours. please?~" I cooed and removed the dark green tshirt from its hanger.

"You already borrowed mine 14 times this week!" he stood up, ready to catch me. "Thank you! I love you too!" I ran straight out of his room while laughing my butt out. "Next time, you're going to pay for that!" He yelled one last time before slamming his door shut. He won't be able to attend mass with us today because of his basketball game later.

After I got dressed, I removed my hair from it's tie and arranged the waves that is in it. My hair is wavy at the top but spring-curly at the bottom. Some people say that they were jealous of my hair and others tell me that they would like to have theirs just like mine. Yep, my hair gets more compliment than my face. *wink*

"Hurry up! Mass starts at 7:30!" My mom yelled. "Coming!" I answered back and hurriedly made my way downstairs.

We then got inside our car and she started the engine. The view outside was soothing. From the leaves being blown away by the streets to the bright rays of the sun shining down through the car window. I plugged my headphones and listened to a couple songs before arriving at the church.
