6 years later.
"Ok, they're all asleep," I said while tightly gripping the hard drive that contained all my controls in it. I slowly got onto the edge of the roof and jumped off without making a sound. The second my feel hit the ground I ran as fast as I could. I wasn't running for long, maybe a minute or so, but by the time I looked back I could no longer see the house. My bag, that contained money and some clothes, was tightly secured on my back. I had taken enough money to by 10 mansions. I was running for 6 hours straight, thanks to the stupid upgrade I had recently. Every time my father got the chance he'd upgrade my technology. He was so addicted to making me the perfect soldier that he ended up replacing perfectly healthy organs and a couple pieces of my brain.
I stopped running when I saw the light of Busan, the cute little town I haven't seen since I was nine. "Its been so long, aish, 13 years," I stated in shock as I walked around the quiet town. Some people were opening shop and others were driving or walking to work. It was currently 5:30 a.m. the students should be leaving for school within the next hour. I need to see if I can find a motel, but first I need food. I walked towards a 24/7 convenience store. The skinny boy at the register greeted me as I walked in and I gave him a small smile back. I walked towards the back and grabbed a bottle of water along with a cup of spicy ramen. The boy was counting the money in the register when I walked up and put my items on the counter.
"That'll be $10. 16 please," he said while handing me my items. I grabbed them and handed him a $20.
"Just keep the change," I said as I walked away. I set my bag in a chair and went to make my ramen. After putting the water in my ramen I went and sat down. I stared outside and watched the people walk around carelessly. After a few minutes I began to eat. A group of boys walked in and ignored my presence while they all walked around looking for food. The tallest one sat down at the table next to me. He watched the others look for food while listening to music. I got up to throw away my food and remember that I ran out of pods for my vape. I walked up to the register and asked the guy for the mint flavored ones.
"Can I see your ID," he asked as he grabbed the ones I asked for. I put my hand in my pocket and formed a fake ID. He looked at it and smiled, handing it back. "So you're birthday is next week," he asked whole ringing me up.
"Yup," I said dully as I handed him a $10 bill. I grabbed the pods and walked back to my seat. The boys in the store were talking about what to eat as I opened my water bottle and took a long drink from it. I was looking for tattoo places around here so I could get a tattoo to cover up my soulmate mark. The tall guy saw what I was looking for and tapped my shoulder. I lifted my head and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm Namjoon, I saw you were looking for a tattoo parlor," he said as he handed me a business card," well I own one, so you should come by. It's just down the street." I grabbed the card and read it.
"You guys open now by chance," I asked. He chuckled and shook his head no.
"We will be whenever those shitheads are done buying snacks for the day so you should walk with us," he said with a smile that showed off his dimples. He had a few tattoos that I could see on his arms and one on his neck. He had wet looking pink hair and a lip piercing. His ears had gauges in them and he had a few rings scattering his fingers.
"Ok, I see no point in not going," I yawned out while leaning back in my chair. I looked back to see 6 different boys, all with different hair colors, frantically looking around while joking with each other. The mint green haired one walked up and sat next to Namjoon.
"Rm, they're taking way to long, we need to leave soon," the mind haired one stated with annoyance written on his face.
"I know, but hey I got us a customer already," he said excitedly.
"Who," the mint haired boy asked. Namjoon or Rm I suppose turned to me.
"I never got your name," he said while looking at me.
"My name is Elise," I explained while looking between the boys.
"Well my name is Yoongi, but you can call me Suga," the mint haired boy stated before resting his chin on his knuckles. It was another 10 minutes before the rest were finally done and went to pay for their food.
"Hyung, who's this," a short boy with Ash brown hair said before plopping down next to me.
"This is our first client of the day, her name is Elise," Rm explained for the second time and went back to looking at his phone.
"Oh, well I'm jimin," the ash brown haired boy said while holding his hand out. I was scared to shake his hand but I did nonetheless. I accidentally squeezed too tight and he hissed in pain while pulling his hand back.
"I'm so sorry," I apologized quickly as I panicked a little.
"Its fine," he chuckled as the rest of the boys started introducing themselves.
"I'm Jungkook," a tall boy with long black hair said while smirking.
"I'm Taehyung but you can call me Tae or V," said another tall boy with half blonde and half pink hair.
"I'm Hoseok, but you can call me Jhope," explained an overly happy boy with red hair.
"And I'm Seokjin, but you can call me Jin," stated a very mature sounding boy with purple fairy like hair.
"...sup," I said awkwardly.
"Well let's go to the shop so we can tat you up," said Rm while getting up and walking towards the door. I grabbed my stuff and followed the boys towards the parlor. After three mintues we were there. Rm signalled me to one of the back rooms and I followed.
"Ok what do you want," he asked. I pulled off my shirt and turned around so he could see my back.
"I was wondering if you could cover this up with angel wings. After a few seconds of silence I turn around to see him with his mouth wide open and shock written all over his face. I waved my hand in his face and got no response, so I took one finger and poked him in the chest which immediately broke him out of his trance. He put his hand up to his chest and hissed a little.
"I'll be back, if you would just wait here," he explained before walking out. I adjusted my hearing so I'd hear what they were talking about. "Umm guys, I need to talk to you, all of you," Rm said.
"What is it," it sounded like Jin talking.
"Well, you know how soulmates only have one other partner right," Rm said, after a few seconds of silence he continued. "Well that girl in there has the same mark as Tae and Kookie." I heard a few gasps before another spoke up.
"That's not possible, what if it's just a normal tattoo," what sounded like Tae, said. I didnt want to find my soulmate, that's why I'm getting it covered up. I quickly grab my stuff my put my shirt back on. Theres no windows or doors in here except to one, so I have to find another way out. I make a loud noise and wait for all the boys to come in. Once they do I sneak from behind the door and run for the front door. Before I can get there someone was already blocking it. I looked up to see Jin smile apologetically. I sigh and turn around to see the rest of the boys. I fold my arms waiting for them to start asking questions.
"Is that an actual tattoo on your back," asks Tae, Jungkook, and Rm simultaneously.
I roll my eyes and nod my head yes. Jungkook rolls his eyes, walks over to me, and lifts up my shirt. I hear him suck in a quick breath before letting my shirt fall back over my back. "Ok, stop lying to us. You're our third soulmate," he said while standing in front of me. I laughed.
"That's funny, I dont think so. I'm not anyone's soulmate so you can believe whatever you want bunny but trust me, you dont want me," I sassed out while poking his chest and pushing him further and further back. The rest of the boys had divided so I could get him against the wall. "So I suggest all of you shut up about it before I do something you won't like," I looked around before looking back at the boy I have pinned against the wall.
"Theres no point in denying it," he smirked cockily. I clench my fist and rests it against the wall, after a few seconds I slowly push my fist into the wall. I hear the boys gasp behind my and now it's my turn to smirk.
