Ima get straight to the point FACTS
in a Rez I'm pretty sure 80% of Rez kids parents are drunks
Some but a lot of Rez kids are depressed have depression
50% of native people commit suicide (there was a suicide crisis)
Native woman's are missing murdered a lot
Some parents are abuser and drug users
All the house have mold cracked walls broken windows old furniture
It's hard to get education and good teachers for students
At the age 13-15 you move out to the city for highschool you can go back home for holidays
Some kids drop out at 6-9 grade
Okay some history
The reason why some parents are this way is they are just alcoholics or for the residential schools
Residential schools are hell from age 4-10 they take you away from your native land and parents force you to drop your native tongue the nuns are abuser and some kids get locked of for speaking your language or even beat to almost death, you don't get to see your parents until you graduate or turn 18, A lot of kids didn't make it out some died for being beat to death or commuting suicide and about over 10,000 kids died? I think but those who made it out are traumatized and turn to alcohol and when they have children the child grows up to be a drunk or move on but this has been going on for generations and we are losing our language I barely know it and thank you for your time.
Did this because some people don't know what's a res
