Both Camila and I, just shared that moment and cherished it because these things only happen sometimes. I temporarily set my lips on her shoulders, and trailed my way to her ears, which made her sigh, but I know it was because of a good reason. I didn't stop until I received a reaction from her, I carried my lips and reached the helix of her ears and kissed it gently, which made her gasp, now I know where her sensitive spots were.
We both enjoyed the little time we had but the reality had other plans for the both of us.
-Lauren, are you here? - a voice called.
Thank God it wasn't Dinah's, but rather, it was my best friend's voice and it was worst because Normani knew we were friends and nothing more than that. The footsteps grew louder and I shuffled out of the water, covering my exposing skin and entered the room, as the cold ran through my skin. I closed the door that led to the bathroom and seconds after, the woman entered the opened door, looking at me straight in the eye.
-Oh, you came early... - I said.
-Yeah, thought of surprising you since I knew you would be alone. - the woman pulled out a smile that reached her ears.
-I appreciate that, Mani, you shouldn't have done that though, I can really keep up with myself...being alone. - I coughed.
-I can barely be alone most days, that's why my secretary often just stay at home with me, working with useless documents.
-Oh that Ally person? - I remembered.
-Mhm! - she hummed.
I tried to avoid the other woman's gaze on me as I disarranged my pile of clothes, to then find my usual clothes, a pink satin night dress that fit tightly on my body, laying out my curves perfectly. It didn't bother me that Normani had to see me changing since I'm already very comfortable around her, I could show and tell her anything and she wouldn't judge me for it, this was just one in a hundred best friend things that we do, and we don't find it weird at all.
-Are you okay? - she ended the silence.
-Yeah, what makes you ask that? - I asked, my back still faced her.
-You're acting weird. - she huffed - I don't know.
-It's nothing, my period came early... - I easily lied.
At this time, I prayed to God that Camila wouldn't be stupid enough to open the door and catch the attention of the both of us. My fingers were fiddling and I often look at the direction I left Camila off, hoping Camila wouldn't show up out of nowhere.
-You should go order the pizza, I'm just going to do something real quick. - I ordered as I faced the older one.
-Okay, sounds good!
The door of my bedroom slightly closed and Camila walked out suddenly, I widen my eyes at the sight of the younger Latina as her body was exposed and made sure Normani already headed downstairs.
-Who was that?
-Fucking hide! - I whispered aggressively.
-How am I supposed to hide! - she answered back at me.
-There is now way! She's going to come back any minute now!
-Give me some clothes to wear! Fast!
I opened the wooden drawer where I kept the clothes when I go out, instead of giving her pajamas to wear, I offered her the choice from any denim shorts from my cabinet, and gave her a black 1975 shirt that looked cute on her because it was too big on her body. It was really visible to the younger Latina how the panic was running throughout my face expressions. She rubbed my shoulder gently and hummed, trying to calm me down but that just worsen it.
