(A/N Funeral outfit ^^)

Tatum's POV

The next day at school, Betty tells me about her dad had told her last night, about Polly.

"Betty, I'm sorry." I told her. "That's hardcore."

"I asked my dad if I could call Polly. He said, she was better, but then, when she heard about Jason's death she had a big setback." Betty explained to me. "He doesn't want to risk another one."

She'd also told me about what happened at her 'date' with Trev. And, the information he'd given up.

"Why does a rich kid sell drugs?" I questioned, aloud.

"He was running away from his parents." Betty answered.

"Yeah, probably." I replied, sighing. "Or drug dealers."

"Oh, my God. Is that possible?" Betty asked.

"It's a theory." I responded, and walked back over to where she was sitting. "Yours is more likely. But, why would he have to run away from Mommy and Daddy?"

"Because, they're monsters." Betty answered.

"Yeah, but why, specifically?" I countered, and run a hand through my hair.

"Well, we can't exactly just ask them." Betty pointed out.

"So, we have to ask Jason." I nodded.

"Are you proposing a séance or--?" Betty began to ask me.

"No, that's just weird. Dead men tell no tales. But their bedrooms, in their houses." I told her.

-----

Soon, it was the day of the funeral. I owned a lot of black clothes, but not one's that were suitable for a funeral. I settled on a basic outfit, and then headed to Betty's, where we'd agreed to meet.

Her dad sent me up to her room, when I arrived. I found the correct room, only because the door was open.

"Ready to enter the belly of the beast?" I asked her, and she turned around to face me. She smiled widely when she saw me.

"I never thought I'd see you in a formal outfit." Betty commented.

"And, you never will again. These clothes are so uncomfortable." I responded. She laughed at me, and I smiled back at her.

Then, we headed to Thornhill, for the memorial.

We went into the room where it was happening, and Betty and I sat together, at the back row. Archie had given Penelope Jason's jersey, and then sat back down on front of us.

"Did she just touch your hair?" Kevin asked him.

"That was really sweet, what you did." Betty told Archie, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"She deserves it. More than I do." Archie stated.

"I have one question for you. Why the hell are you wearing Riverdale High Bulldog jacket to a funeral?" I asked Archie, quietly, leaning forward in my seat.

"Shhh. We're at a funeral." Was his response. I sighed, and sat back in my chair.

Veronica came over, and sat in the seat in front of Valerie, who was sitting next to Archie.

"Days like today really put things in perspective, huh?" Veronica addressed us. "I mean, at least we're here. At least we're alive."

Everyone starts to look behind, at the doorway. So, I do as well. Then, we saw Cheryl come down the middle alise of the chairs. And, what really made her stand out, was the fact she was wearing fully white.
