Vkook one shot book

A rainy day pt. 1

Taehyung POV.
I have never liked the rain especially when I'm trying drive in it.

I am on my way to pick up my adorable boyfriend Jungkook from the airport.

He's been gone for 3 weeks on a yearly vacation he takes with his family.

For the last two year I tagged along with him but my grandmother got sick this year so I wanted to stay back this time and care of her.

But, now he's back and I unfortunately have to deliver some difficult news.

I was about thirty minutes away form the airport when it started pouring.

I desperately tried to get through this unfortunate weather with my wipers on high but, I quickly got over welmed so, I decided to just pull over and wait it out a bit.

I texted Jungkook.

Tae Tae❤️:
Hey cutie!😘 I hope your
flight was good. Listen, I might be a few minutes late to pick you up.
It's pouring out and I pulled
over for a quick sec to wait it out.
Sound good?

Bunny boy❤️🐰:
Hey love 💗!
My flight went fine
thanks for asking.
That's fine with me as long
as you get here safe.
That's all that matters to me! 😘

Tae Tae❤️:
Aww🥰

He's so understanding I love him.

I just hope I can get my point across later with out him crying. That would kill me.

After about twenty minutes of endless boredom  I heard a soft thud near the back of my car that made me jump and wipe my head around.

I stared through my rear view mirror for what felt like an eternity, when I heard it again. This time the thud came with a barely audible wimpier.

'What the hell'  I thought as I quickly grabbed my umbrella off the passengers seat and made my way to the back of my car.

I slowly walked to the trunk as I called out, "hello? Is someone there? Are you hurt? Do you ne-"

I stopped as my eyes met with something I would not have guessed. A tiny golden retriever pup was siting at the back of my car.

"Interesting..." it was a little hard for me to see him because of all the rain so I walked a little closer to him to get a better look at this adorable creature.

As I crept closer to him I could see that his eyes didn't match. I though it was just me seeing some rain water or something but no one of his eyes was brown and the other was a glazed white.

He was blind in one eye. My heart melted. It all made a little bit more sense now.

He was running from something and because it was raining and he's blind in one eye he ran into the back of my car. And the the silly like thing did it again.

"Hey bud where's your family?" I cooed not wanting to scare the poor thing.

He looked up at me with rather frightening eyes and scooted away from me. "Shh, it's okay I'm not gonna hurt you." I very calmly and slowly reached out to pet the top of his rain soaked head.

Surprisingly he moved his head closer until my hand met it. I pet him for a little while looking around trying to see if I could find a car pulled over or a group of people looking for a dog.

The rain hadn't let up sense I left my car so I decided to bring him with me. The two of us waited another ten minutes and the rain stopped. "And we're-" I turned to see the little puppy fast asleep all rapped up in the towel I laid our for him. I chuckled.

'This might be hard to explain' I thought as I pulled into the airport. I left the back windows rolled down a crack so I could leave the sleeping angel in my car while I went to get kookie.

Jungkook POV.
I was starting to get a little bit more nervous. He should be here by now even if he had to wait out the rain a little. It's been almost and hour and a half.

What if he got hurt. Or in an accident. What if he decided to drive back in the rain and got nervous and and and...

My worried thoughts were interrupted by a farmilar joyful voice. "Kookie!" It was Tae.

The precious boy ran towards me as I looked up from the ground he pulled me into a warm hug as I lifted him in the air a little.

A heart melting giggle left his lips as I set him safely back on the ground.

I pulled him back into another hug. "What took you so long? I was starting to get really worried." I pouted.

"I'm sorry love. I didn't think it would rain that long." He said placing a reassuring kiss on my lips. I responded rapping my hands around his waist pulling him closer. We both pulled away and I lay my forehead against his.

"God I missed you so much." He chuckled at my clingy behavior. "I missed you too Jungkookie. Come on let's go before it starts to rain again."
