CHAPTER SIXTEEN anniversary.

"johnny-hyung, i'm ho- woah, what happened here?"
(m/n) rushed to the sofa, where johnny was sitting with his head bent low. he was wearing a dress shirt and pants, his suit jacket was thrown onto the coffee table. his shirt was rolled up to his elbows, which rested on his knees, his hand supporting his head.
"h-hyung? what's up?" (m/n) asked softly, sitting beside the older.
johnny stayed silent, which worried (m/n) even more. he inched closer to johnny, gulping. "hyung? are you okay-"
"ten and i were dating."
hearing that, (m/n) felt his heart sink into his stomach. "o-oh," he mumbled, acting surprised as he shuffled away. "congrats! for how lo-"
"we were dating."
(m/n) felt his heartbeat quicken this time, as his palm started to sweat despite the cool temperature he was feeling. "what do you mean?"
johnny sighed, turning his head to look at (m/n), who blushed. he didn't notice, though.
"he broke up with me," he mumbled, his husky voice sent shivers down the younger's spine. "on our date. it's our first anniversary."
(m/n) felt his heart break slightly. he kept it from me for that long?
shaking the thought away, (m/n) began to inch closer towards the older yet again. he pulled johnny into a hug, which the older gladly accepted. "i'm so sorry this happened to you, hyung," he whispered, his own tears forming at his eyes.
this is so wrong. i shouldn't be happy that he broke up with the one he actually loves.
(m/n) felt johnny shake his head. "it's fine," the older mumbled, wrapping his arms around the (h/c) haired male. "i'll be over him in no time, since i know he won't come back to me."
(m/n) ran his hand through johnny's soft hair, nodding, as he didn't know what to say. but apparently, johnny had something to tell the younger.
