You arrive at the bar with you're best friend Luke, hoping to finally hook up with someone.
"Ya know, I have no idea what you like in men so I'm not even gonna try to recommend anyone to ya, cause ya know I'm straight." Luke says worryingly."Don't worry, I'd prefer to find one myself, and I wouldn't trust you're taste anyway" I say while wearing a joking grin.
You both walk in, and take a seat and order some drinks. Once you both settle a bit you start looking around to see who you can attempt to hit on tonight.
You scour the bar with your eyes and see a few okayish looking guys when suddenly you feel big, masculine hands rest on your shoulders, you hear a soft but manly voice say
"Can I buy you a drink sweetheart?"
You turn and see a man with red-dyed hair thats long enough to reach his chin but somehow stays somewhat curled on the top of his head, he stares into your eyes with his soft and gentle gaze, awaiting an answer.
"Uhh, uhmm uh y-yeah sure, if you'd be so kind."
He gently smiles,
"So what's your name?" He asks"Y/N." You reply.
"I'm Jay" He replies with a soft tone "I'll go get that drink for you."
You sit there in your chair startled, butterflies dancing around in your stomach like a highschool rave.
He comes back, in what seems only mere seconds later,
"You okay?" Jay asks, looking concerned.
"Yeah I-I'm fine, completely fine!" You say embarrassed as he rubs your back to comfort you.
You take a sip of the drink and calm down slightly, you see Luke drunkenly flirting with some group of girls across the bar.
You begin talking to Jay, he seems extremely interesting, he loves to ramble and you can't help but listen to his amazing stories, you can't wait to learn more about him and what he's experienced.
He talks about his love for animals, especially birds. He loves to watch movies, something you don't do as much as you'd like to nowadays. What feels like seconds talking to him turn out to be hours, you check the time."Its 4:00am??? ...Huh???" You say panicked.
"Time flies when you're with you're future boyfriend, huh?" Jay says flirtingly.
A blush creeps up your face.
"So can I get your n-number?" You ask nervously
He grins and whips out a napkin and writes his number on it faster than you have time to comprehend and hands it to you. He offers you a lift but sadly you have to decline as you brought your own car and need to take it home. You say your goodbyes and he gives you a small peck on the cheek as you part ways for the night.
