As the Phantom broke through the upper atmosphere of the planet below us, the door to the bridge opened behind me, Lex and Vi stepped in as it slid closed behind them.

"Soooo, who was your lady friend back there?" Lex pressed, leaning against the holotable.

"If you really must know, she was my partner back in my time in the UEE, me and her flew all sorts of craft as both wingmen and crew, once our eight years were up we both ditched the Empire and turned to the private sector, she went for infiltration and sabotage whilst I went more direct and ended up with you lot" I explained, my pilots chair now facing Lex after Mother took control of the ship.

"Wait so you mean to tell me that you're an imperial and you never told us?" Lex asked, surprised at the new discovery.

"No one ever asked" I replied simply.

"If you two are done bickering about backstories, our legless friend is all tucked away in one of the cryo cells, thought I'd make it easier on you for transporting him to the drop" Vi informed me.

"Thanks for that, he's gonna be pissed when he wakes up. We'll be arriving at Grim Hex soon, Lex, go grab Logo and get geared, I want you two with me for the drop" I said with immediate agreement from Lex.

"Vi, I'll leave you in charge, stick with the ship and make sure you watch the cams, keep Pine and Vi on the guns, Grim Hex has a fair few scavs" I informed.

Soon we dropped into the asteroid belt of the ringed planet Yela, we passed over countless craters and pits until the large mining colony known as Grim Hex came into view. The landing gear made contact with the landing pad as the ship came to rest. Logo, Lex, the cryo cell and I stood on the small personnel elevator as it lowered to the ground. The cryo cell floated a couple feet off the floor and followed me as I walked towards the center building. The airlock door slid open as we entered a dimly lit main hall filled with questionable characters and horrid stench, we headed onwards through the hall and to the lower level where our contact was waiting. We stepped into the elevator and I pressed the button to descend.

"So how do you know this guy again?" Logo asked curiously.

"He's an old contact from the UEE, he runs the prisons in this sector. He doesn't like risking his men or his honour so he hires people like us under the table to grab escaped convicts like this one" I explained, tapping my fist on the cryo cell.

"Hmph, criminals paid by the law to hunt criminals, makes sense" Logo said with a chuckle.

The elevator door opened and we walked towards a set of double doors along the hall, I knocked on the door and the it slid open revealing two rifle wielding guards and a man at a desk who immediately stood up to greet us.

"Ah hello Katana! It went well I hope?" He asked cheerfully.

"It went smoothly, he lost his legs through an unforeseen accident during the capture however" I informed him.

"Not to worry, he's still alive though correct?" He asked, standing over the cryo cell, peering in through the glass at the frozen convict.

"Alive and well, just thaw him out and he's fine" I explained.

"Excellent, here's your bounty and a little extra to replace the cryo cell" he said, handing over a credit case.

"Glad we could be of assistance, hopefully we'll be at your service again" I said, leaving the room fairly hastily.

"Anyone else feel like something was off there?" Logo said, walking speedily beside me.

"It's not our place to ask but it's also not our place to stick around, one of the guards disappeared" I explained, scanning my surroundings whilst closing in on the elevator doors.
