2nd semester is about to start and yet again, i still haven't enrolled to my new school
Kim Chaeri 20 years old currently a sophomore at the fashion department
Im on my way to sungkyunkwan university to enroll myself in
"Oh you're the one who got a 98 out of 100 in the entrance exam for this semester?" The principal asked and i smiled and nodded
"Its a good thing you enrolled, school's about to start tomorrow" he said and i smiled and bowed
"But why are you transferring schools this semester?" He asked
"Financial problems sir" i said and he once again looked at my profile
"You live alone?" He asked and i nodded
"My parents lives at dongducheon" i said and he nodded
"Well congratulations for getting your scholarship, i hope you'll be able to maintain you grades and part time jobs" our principal said and i smiled and nodded
"Yes Mr. Ma thankyou so much" i said and bowed and left
My family isn't well off actually, that's why I applied for a scholarship here, i really want to become a fashion designer and i know that getting into well known universities would really help me
I was already at the bus stop and saw that there was only one person sitting there adn also waiting. He saw me but looked away as if i was just nothing
'Well whatever'
I was going back to my apartment which was 4 stops before reaching this station, i took a day off today and tomorrow to prepare for school.
I was about to go inside the bus but the guy from a while ago was still infront of me and it was like he was trying to find something
"Sir, if you're not going to get in please leave" the driver said
"Anniyo, i know my wallet is here somewhere" the guy said and i let out a sigh
"Excuse me, a ride for 2 persons please" i said and beeped my card and went inside
"Get inside student" the driver said to the guy and he followed
I sat on the window seat and there weren't anymore available seats so the guy sat beside me
"Thanks, i'll pay you back" he said
"Anniyo, its fine" i said and put my earphones on
I haven't quite told you about my life, i actually live with my grandparents ever since i was a kid, i have a brother but i never got to see him anymore since i moved.. i considered my grandparents as my mom and dad since my biological parents literally threw me out and just focused on their one and only son. Me and my brother were pretty close back then but since i moved out we didn't contacted each other anymore, i moved out when i was just 5 years old and you know the reason why they threw me out? Its because all they needed was a son as an heir, when my brother got born, my biological mom got pregnant right away again with me but when i was still living there, i never received any love except for my brother but now i hate him. Since my grandparents are old its hard for them to work and pay for me. Yes, my biological parents doesn't support me at all and they even forgot about their parents, its like i've never even existed and my grandparents never existed that's why i hate them and my brother, to me im an only child right now and my parents are my grandparents. That's it
That's why i have part time jobs and i couldn't hang out with my friends after school, i needed to support my grandparents as well even if my grandfather is still working as a taxi driver, i figured i should still help them since my grandmother needs a liver transplant.
And that's my life right now but im not complaining about it, im happier that i got to live with my grandparents and experience love.
"Excuse me this is my stop" i said to the guy beside me and he nodded and stood up
"Thank you again" he said and i smiled a little
"Dont mention it" i said and got off the bus
I went to the rooftop of the building apartment since that's my unit, its pretty small, its like a studio apartment but i dont kind at all, i live by myself and the rent is pretty cheap, lets just say cheaper than the others plus i get to have the rooftop all to myself, it feels like a penthouse
I went inside and started to prepare my things for school until my phone rang
"Oh annyeong eomma" i greeted my grandmother
"How have you been doing chaeri-ahh?" She asked and i smiled
"Im doing great eomma, tomorrow's my first dah at my new school" i said
"That's great chaeri-ahh, do well okay? And please hang out with your friends, ne?" She said and i just chuckled
"Dont worry eomma you know i dont have that much friends here and im busy working anyways, i enjoy working so dont worry okay? I'll visit you soon" i said
"Okay, we'll visit you soon okay?" She said
"Yes eomma" i said and ended the call
"I miss you eomma aboji" i said and chuckled
"Alright let cook" i said and went to the kitchen to cook some food
After eating i cleaned up ofcourse and sketched a few designs before going to sleep
The next dah and i was getting ready, i just wore some shorts with an oversized yellow tee that's a little lose at the neck part and my hair was just down and i left the house without eating since i rarely ate breakfast
I got inside the bus and waited for my stop and as soon as i sat down someone called me
"Oh dongpyo-ah" i said
"Im waiting for you infront, im so excited to be in the same school with you again" he said throughthe phone and i chuckled
"Yah pyo, its not like we're not hanging out" i said
"We rarely hangout at 1st semester because of your work" he said and i chuckled
"Im almost there just wait for me okay?" I said and ended the call
Me and dongpyo has been friends since i was in dongducheon, he also lived there (just in this story) and we were bestfriends
I reached my destination and went off the bus and saw a lot of students entering the school
'This is it my dream school'
"Yah Kim Chaeri!" I heard a familiar voice and i looked around and saw dongpyo waving his hand at me and i waved back and ran to him
"Surprisingly you're early" i said
"Ofcourse i should be, its your first day but dont get used to it, its just today" he said and i chuckled
"Yes i know" i said and we both went inside
'New school, new environment, new life..... i wish nothing goes wrong'
