POV Addison:
I live in Indiana with my parents. I have lived here ever since i can remember. I have never really liked school or make many friends. I was that one girl in school who kept to themselves and didn't talk to anyone. When it came to the class projects where you had to partner up with someone in class I would make sure everyone got taken so that I would do the assignment alone.
After a few years my parents noticed and decided they wanted to me to Connecticut and my grandparents live there. We were planning on leaving in a few days. I had packed everything apart from essentials that I knew I would need for the next few days.
*few days later*
We were moving today. I wasn't really worried about leaving or upset as I wouldn't really be leaving anything behind. I guess you could say I am excited. I haven't been this excited in a long time. I am glad that I could get a fresh start and maybe try and make some friends. I packed the last of my things and we got in the car to head to the airport.
When we got there were collected our tickets and sat down with our luggage to wait for the plane but I noticed a Dunkin Doughnuts opposite me. I shot up from my seat and squealed and got up to run over. I heard my mum giggle behind me, she knew I lived dunkin. On the other hand my dad didn't approve he said they were "unhealthy". But I kind of ignored him whenever he gave me a lecture.
*time skip to house cause I'm lazy*
We finally arrived at the house and it was huge. I really didn't know how my parents were affording this house but I was just happy to be here. I was stood at the door stunned when I heard my mum ask me if I like it. 'Like it, mum I love it, it's lit'. I headed upstairs to tax the room that I wanted.
The room I had chosen has its own bathroom suite. I started to unpack everything and then set up all of the LED lights around the room. I laid on my bed knowing I had to go to sleep so I could get up early for my first day at school tomorrow.
