I wake up to my alarm clock on my phone. I turn it off and get up and get dressed. My mom got today off so she can spend time with us. But unfortunately, I have a doctor's appointment at 10 a.m. Ever since Saturday, I have been feeling feverish and my throat has been sore and I have red rashes all over my body. I get in my car and drive to the doctors. when I get a call from Nick I answer. "Hey, babe how are you doing I'm sorry I couldn't be at the doctor's with you, " he said. "It's fine babe I feeling kinda good, " I said. "I gotta go but call me after your appointment, " he said. "Ok bye, " I said. I hang up and pull into the parking lot."Ms.Taylor," the lady says. "That's me, " I say getting up from the chair. I followed the lady. I wait for the doctor in the doctor's office. The doctor comes in and asks me a bunch of questions. She does a check-up. "I have bad news you have Scarlet fever, " she says. My face drops. "I'm I gonna die, " I ask. Well yes, I recommend you stay home for the next month or so. "Ok well thank you, " I said. I go to my car and my hand is shaking as I grab my phone and call Nick. "Hey how did it go, " he asks. "I have, " I stopped and cried. "Scarlet fever, " I finally get the words out.
