Before you read:

So the first half of this chapter is just an explanation of how our favorite couple got into the mess they are in currently.

Enjoy :)

When Ayse found out she was going to get married to Kerem she was upset. One she didn't like Kerem, and two why? She knew she could not fight it. Because ever since she learned of the idea of marriage they told her that they would choose for her.

At first, she didn't mind that they chose for her. They were her brothers, right? They would choose the right person for her. But then as she got older she realized how weird it was that her brothers wanted to choose her husband for her. Then she found out why they wanted to.

Money.

It was always money, wasn't it?

Ayse was grateful that she grew up in a rich family. They never had any money troubles and her life was great. But Ayse didn't realize how far her family was willing to go to stay rich. After her father passed away Ayse got a huge inheritance. Which she didn't touch for a couple of years. She used it for her schooling and when she bought her first apartment. But other than that she didn't use any of it.

Her brothers handled their fathers' passing differently. They thought if they kept the company their father had worked on for many years alive. They would keep his spirit alive or something like that. So when the company got into money troubles, and Ayse didn't allow them to use her inheritance to fix their troubles. They did the second-best thing. Merge with another company. Which obviously would fix those problems. That's how her brother met Kerem her current husband. He worked at the company during his studies as an intern. Her brothers were impressed with him.

So when rumors started to spread that Muhsin Yigiter wanted to retire things started getting blurry. People were not liking the idea of Kerem Yigiter taking over the company.

Kerem's image was bad. He was a playboy and his longest relationship was two days, according to the tabloids, of course. The public did not think that Kerem Yigiter could take over the company. The stock sank. It was a bad quarter for the company.

And those were just rumors.

Muhsin really was thinking of retiring and giving the company to his son, but when he saw the public reaction to the rumors. He realized he needed to fix his son's reputation or his company would be done for.

Ayse didn't know how they got to marriage, but somehow her brothers and Muhsin thought that the perfect solution was to get Kerem married to someone and, of course, her brothers offered her because it would make sense and be cute. The son and daughter of the companies that merged together fell in love, awh.

When they told Ayse all of this. She was furious, she did not want to marry her childhood nightmare Kerem to 'fix his reputation'. He had ruined it on his own and he could fix it himself.

But she knew she did not have a choice so she agreed. They skipped the engagement and immediately got married.

The wedding was a complete nightmare. The last thing she remembers was getting drunk, and the next thing she knew she was cuddled up into Kerem's chest, naked.

She pushed away the disgusting thoughts of what could've happened that night. And quickly erased that night ever happening. But sometimes Kerem would mention it ruined her morning as always.

They would sleep in the same bed together and sometimes wake up in each others arms.

but a reminder she did NOT like Kerem, she just wanted a comfortable good night's sleep.

-

Not even in her wildest dreams did Ayse think she was going to be house hunting with Kerem. But yet here she was house hunting with her 'husband'.

Ayse yawned and rested her head on Kerem's chest. He was looking down at her annoyed. He understood that she was tired and just wanted to sleep. But they usually woke up much earlier it was only 8 am.

"Kerem the guy isn't even here, come on let's leave," Ayse took about three steps before Kerem pulled her back.

"Be patient okay? If I knew you were this impatient I wouldn't even have brought you here. I would have just bought the house without you seeing it," That made her lift her head off of his chest and pinch his arm.

"I am not impatient, okay? I just want my full night's sleep and you took that away from me," He winced in pain but she rested her head back onto his chest. Kerem laughed he couldn't believe he was actually buying a house with Ayse of all people.

"So you being mad at me does not have anything to do with you getting drunk last night with your friends?" He shot back at her and she looked up at him again and gave him a dirty face sparing his skin this time.

She was about to say something not so ladylike, but then the realtor arrived saving Kerem from Ayse's words.

-

The house was fine but needed a lot of work done. As Ayse was telling Kerem about how she wanted to furnish the house, the guy interrupted her telling her the house was maybe out of their price range.

Did this guy really think that they would come all the way here at this time to look at a house they could not buy? She was about to say something very mean to that man, but Kerem wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.

"We know, we can afford it. It's fine," He told the guy and Ayse pushed his hand off her waist.

She instead grabbed his hand which she was a little bit more comfortable with. The realtor was looking at them a little weird, their behavior wasn't exactly that of a married couple. Ayse knew that, but she personally didn't think it was that bad. She was trying her best to be nice.

Ayse zoned off on the important parts, the realtor had a boring voice and she could care less about the details she was going to change everything anyway. They walked out of the house holding hands and sporting fake smiles. As soon as they were out of the realtor's eyesight she pulled her hands out of Kerem's.

"Your hands are disgusting," She said while getting into the car. She opened her bag to grab the wet wipes she had stored just for this occasion.

"You didn't say that, on our wedding night," he said while putting the keys into the car.

"How many times do I have to tell you? We never did anything in that bed, okay?" She did not want to think of that night at this time.

"How can you say that? You don't even remember that night," He looked at her with a smug face.

"Well don't either so shut up."

They both did not remember that night. But the difference between them was that Kerem wanted to remember and Ayse did not.

What Kerem did remember of that night was Ayse and him stumbling into his room kissing each other. But after that, it was just blank.
