The Hidden Truth

Raiden's  艾米 Pov

"You want to keep fighting? You could've just asked," the mech replied, "normally I would punish those who step out of line or lie but powerful beings like you and a few of your friends are an exception."

"And you are an exception to eternity."  I spoke with the previous Raiden Shogun, Ei's voice echoing.

I teleported behind him and tried to catch him off guard.

Our weapons clashed in a fiery storm of steel, electricity and flames. I teleported rapidly, summoning a dozen copies of the dawnbreaker swords and tried pulling the energy of all seven elements together as fast as I could.

"Still upset, I see," he noted, his voice calm amidst the chaos.

"Shut the fuck up."

I will not let Zandik die a third time.

With a final surge, lightning from all directions fused with the seven elements and energon, blasted toward him in a single, devastating beam.

He sighed. In response, multiple energon-infused swords materialized and shot toward me.

And then... everything stopped.

The lightning threads froze. His own weapon hung motionless in the air because of the Musou No Hitotachi. But what was crazy was that both abilities were suspended. The fatal threads of the lightning and electro blades were just inches away from striking him.

I could still move, teleport and gather energy for the next Musou no isshin strike. But then I realized...did he just freeze time inside my own domain and my attack cancelled his ability?!

Impossible!

So his ability is freezing time and time traveling?!
Wait didn't Omega Dottore have the time suspension ability?! Did he steal it or was this his power to begin with?!

That's insanely cool and terrifying!

I teleported to a new view point and braced for his counter-attack. But he just stood there, letting his weapon dissolve into nothing. He then shifted, turning his back to me.

Is he... showing me mercy?

Hesitating, I cancelled my attack and slowly shifted to my normal self. The gathered elements and electro swords harmlessly dispersed into shimmering lights.

He then suddenly teleported in behind me.

"Haha, Thank you for your cooperation, sweetie." He whispers.

He then reached towards me.

Assuming he is going for the gnosis, I sighed and took it out of the electro void of my domain.

"You want it? I absorbed most of the electro element in here anyways." I replied.

He shooked his head, "No, that's not what I want."

I then let the gnosis dissappear.

Suddenly, a violent burning and stabbing pain pierced through my chest. It felt as if I were about to be consumed by flames. It was the exact opposite of the freezing heart-pain I'd felt when I awakened Zeta Dottore.

Flashback and memories containing myself and  this red haired male appeared in my vision.

"What the hell?!" I cried out, collapsing onto my back.

He was clearly feeling it too, gritting his fangs as he dropped to the ground. He managed to collapse next to me, rather than on top of me. His brilliant fiery red hair seemed to crackle with static, and his orange-red eyes were wide with shock. With the last of my strength, I reached out, teleporting both of us out of my Eternal Domain.
