Y/N's POV
"OH SHIT—"

I'm currently running to my Hamilton casting audition, when I stupidly ran into the man in front of me.

"Oh my god! I'm so so so sorry!" I exclaim, picking up the papers I had caused to scatter everywhere.

"Heh.. that's alright.." he trails off, "where are you headed in such a hurry?" He asks.

I pick up his papers and examine one, squinting my eyes as I see my name printed at the very bottom.

"I—I'm auditioning for a Hamilton part.." I say staring at the paper, I reluctantly give it back to him and finally look at him.

"Really? Well, I'm headed to the theater right now." He says, standing up, reaching out a soft hand for me to take.

I grab his hand and he pulls me up, I've seen this man before.

"May I.. walk you?" He says with confidence.

Oh my god. He's... He's Lin-Manuel—FUCKING—Miranda!!!! "U-Uh! Yeah— Yes.. I would love to walk with you." I say embarrassed.

He extends his elbow out and tilts his head up slightly. I hesitantly wrap my arm around his, he smiles at me with genuine joy and confidence. I smile back at him and look down, bitting the side of my mouth.

"So, what part are you auditioning for?" He inquires, raising a surprisingly groomed eyebrow.

"Uuuhhh.. heh, well.. I wanted to try out for Eliza but, um.. I'd really be grateful to be a dancer." I didn't want to come across as rude or not grateful— I was! I'm happy to even get the chance to preform in front of someone, even if they are judging my every move.

"I'm sure you'd make an amazing Eliza, I'll put in a good word for you." He says, standing up a little taller. Boy, this guy is confident! He has every right to be! I mean, he's made it so far. I admire his ability to stand tall in this crowd of people who could care less about us.

"Y-you'd do that?" I look up at him and looks right back.

"Yes, I'd be happy to."
