(There's some heavy angst in here, please stop reading if it makes you uncomfortable)

Gunhak was a businessman. A business-man. That meant he worked and worked for the best result, and didn't let anything get in his way. No headache or fatigue would ruin that reputation that he had spent so long to develop.

Gunhak took the train to work as usual, frowning as he walked past the countless taken seats. He'd just have to stand up instead. The train began to move, and he couldn't tell if his dizziness was caused by the movement or his headache, but he chose to ignore it either way.

He almost fell asleep standing up, until the train jolted. He looked around, and people were beginning to get off, so he did too. He wasn't even surprised when he didn't recognise the station, meaning he had missed his stop. Gunhak wouldn't let it get to him, so he just carried on walking, hoping that he could walk to work as quickly as he needed to.

He was late, and he was so glad that his boss wasn't around that he almost cried out in relief as soon as he reached his office. He practically collapsed into his seat, sighing as he stared at the ceiling.

"Gunhak-ssi! I was worried you wouldn't be here."

Gunhak looked ahead of him to find his intern smiling at him, a clipboard in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. His intern was slightly older than him with blonde hair and a smile that never seemed to stop shining. He placed the coffee on Gunhak's desk, and Gunhak smiled back at him.

Usually, Seoho's boss would have finished his coffee within minutes of him giving it to him, but when Seoho came back nearly half an hour later, the cup was untouched.

"Gunhak-ssi, has your coffee gone cold?" Seoho asked, but there was no response. Gunhak was either deep in thought or just completely ignoring him. Seoho expected it was a bit of both.

"Do you want me to get you another coffee?" Seoho took a step closer, hoping to get Gunhak's attention.

"Sir?" Gunhak's head snapped up, and Seoho almost winced when he saw his boss' pale face and the dark circles under his eyes.

"I was saying that your coffee is probably cold. Do you want me to get you another?" Seoho asked, and Gunhak shook his head.

"It's fine, thank you. I don't have much of an appetite today." Gunhak said, switching on his computer for the first time that day. Has he just been sitting there staring for half an hour?

"Not even for coffee?"

"Not even for coffee."

Seoho left and took a few stacks of paper and other things to other people's offices, but he made sure to walk past Gunhak's office as often as possible, just to check on him. When he finally came back to Gunhak's office to drop off a pile of letters, the man was fast asleep, his head on the desk as he slept. Seoho tried not to smile, knowing that it was a serious situation.

He didn't know whether he should wake him up or not, so he just left the letters on his desk. Just as he was about to turn and leave, Gunhak's head snapped up again. Seoho could see that he regretted it, because he winced as he held his hand up to his face to hide from the bright lights in the room.

"Gunhak-ssi, are you okay?" Seoho asked, and Gunhak nodded.

"Are you sure? In the most respectful way possible, sir, you haven't done anything but daydream and sleep since you got here. I think you should go home." Seoho said, but Gunhak shook his head.

"I'm a businessman, Seoho. I'll be fine, I have to work."

"But you're also a human being. Please go home and rest. Then you'll be much better suited for working when you're feeling better."
