cooking together; nicky + gigi

3rd pov

Nicky stared up to the ceiling as she laid in bed. Her fiance Gigi was cuddled into her side. Nicky didn't know how or why but some how in the middle of the night she had woken up starving. It's true she hadn't eaten much ever since she returned from a business trip but yeesh, this is a bit much.

Gigi shifted a bit as she laid against Nicky, she wasn't completely asleep and could hear Nicky's grumbles. "Baby.. Why are you up?" She muttered incoherently, shifting so her head was propped up by Nicky's chest. Nicky looked down at the girl with a soft smile. "I was hungry" Gigi's brows arched. "At twelve am?" Nicky nodded, a small laugh escaping. Gig shook her head with a smile and say up, yawning and stretching as she did so. 

Now it was Nicky's time to be confused. "What are you-? " Gigi got up and placed her hands on her hips. "Well your hungry and I'm clearly not going to bed now so come on slow poke" Nicky stared at the girl who was now sauntering away. Her stomachs growled and she rolled her eyes. Great, now my own body is against me, she thought to herself before swinging her legs over the side of there bed and hopping off. 

She followed where Gigi had gone, clear into the kitchen. The brightness of the kitchen light caused her to squint alittle, after her eyes ajusted they immediately landed on Gigi who started getting stuff out. "So? What are you hungry for? " "Are you sure we shouldn't just order something? " Gigi nodded frowning, before going back to her searching. She pulled out a box of pancake mix. "How about some breakfast?" (Literally craving pancakes rn) 

Nicky sighed and nodded walking over to Gigi, she bent and opened their fridge. Nicky grabbed two eggs as well as bacon from the freezer. "So, bacon, eggs and pancakes? " She smiled holding the stuff up. Gigi nodded swiftly and began to purchase pancake mix into a bowl. Nicky turned on the stove and set apan down, the loud flanking caused her to jump. Gigi put her hand over her mouth, stiffiling laughter. Nicky glared softly before going to get other things situated. 

"So. How about you make the pancakes on the pan here, " Nicky pointed to the heating pan, "And i'll get started on the eggs" She smiles and Gigi nods now adding water to the mixture. The two do this for a while, Nicky making two eggs and Gigi starting to make some pancakes. The whole room filled with the sweet aroma of food, making both speed their actions. "I just finished the pancakes so I'll go ahead and start the bacon" Gigi mumbled in a focused manner. 

After they had finished Nicky plated their food the pair walked into the living room, both sitting down next to eacother. Gigi's head rested on Nicky's shoulder, and they chatted. A sigh escaped both of them as they finished, smiles gracing each of their faces. "That was amazing. Thanks for helping me" Nicky smiled hugging Gigi after she set their plates aside. "Your welcome" Gigi beamed back.
