I pulled up to Radio Station, smiling. Liam had been singing a song to me, that he said reminded him of me and Louis. It was 'One More Night' by Maroon 5.
I looked up at the building, and groaned. My dad's office light was on. He doesn't have a clock in his office, because the ticking makes him angry, so he looses track of time.
"Just, follow me." I tell Liam, when he looks at me. He shrugs, and gets out of the car. I instantly regreted not bringing a coat, because it was getting chilly fast in Maine. Liam seen my shiver, and took off his jacket, handing it to me.
"Liam, i can't take your coat." I tell him, wrapping my arms around my elbows.
"Nonsense." He says, offering me it again. I sigh, and take it. I pull it over me, smiling. It smelt good.
He smiled at me, as i lead the way to the doors. Michael buzzed me in when i knocked on the glass door.
"Hey Michael. Has he left his office yet?" Paul was the security guard, and he knew instantly who i was talking about.
"Nope. Not since you left earlier. The new band he's working on came in and left. So, i don't know what he's doing." Michael shook his head. My dad was a workaholic, but you have to be when you run a business like this.
I shrug at him, and head down the dark hallways to my office. Liam was right behind me, humming an unknown song. I smiled, and opened the door, making Avery jump.
"Ugh. Your here too?" I said jokingly. She flicked me off, and then smiled.
"I see you have yourself a friend finally." She says, looking at Liam. I just roll my eyes at her.
"Liam, this is Avery. The very annoying sister i never got." I say, making her stick her tongue out at me.
"Ello Avery." Liam says. He sits on one of my couches.
"It's nice to meet you Liam. I'm a huge fan of you guys." Avery says. She always loves to kiss butt.
I stop listening to their conversation, and head into the booth.
"Okay, so i know it's kind of late, but hey y'all. It's The Scene Queen. I just wanted to give a shout out to all those kids up and listening to me." I pause, and look up at Liam. Everyone outside the booth can hear me.
"I wanted to kind of break away from the normal habit of just playing music when i'm not here. So, If you guys need to get anything across, just call me. Or Tweet me. Or Facebook it. I'll be checking until," I look at the clock. It read 12:00. "1:00. Then it's closed. So, hurry it up." I let a song play, and then log into Twitter and Facebook. So far, I have 5 questions on Twitter, and two requests on Facebook. I let the song end, and start talking.
"Alright, Brooklyn_Piercestheveil from Twitter wants to let you guys know that 'Today, it's been a year since my boyfriend proposed to me. Thank you so much @TheSceneQueen for being there for your fans to say something they're scared to say. I listen to you 24/7 and i will admit that you're pretty awesome. Keep rocking and letting people have a chance at not being scared.' That honestly just made my night. I'm glad that you guys are happy now." I say, smiling. Avery is looking at me through the glass, with a huge smile on her face. She holds up a sign, THAT WAS ADORABLE. TOLD YOU THIS JOB WAS REWARDING. I flick her off, and read the next one.
"Kay. Real_Liam_Payne," I stopped, and looked at Liam. He wasn't looking at me though. "says 'so, i meet @TheSceneQueen today. She's pretty awesome. Her and @Louis_Tomlinson are going at each others throats. Let's hope that they get better with each other. #teamLouis&Queenie' Oh my goodness. That's never going to happen."
