Jewel,the child.

Chapter 4

    4 years have passed and Jewel has grown into a beautiful young toddler.One fine day,she was playing in the  castle's backyard when her mother, Queen Rapunzel walked up to her. "Darling, Prince Eugene, Queen Merida's son, will be coming over for a playdate today. "Jewel smiled. "Finally! A visitor to play with!" Rapunzel patted her head and said, "Remember the promise that you made, sweetie." Jewel nodded her head. Rapunzel soon walked away from the backyard as soon as she heard the news of the arrival of  Queen Merida and her family.

                

   "Greetings! Queen Merida, I haven't seen you in quite a while!" Rapunzel bowed as she gave Merida a friendly hug. " I miss you too!"Merida snorted as she elbowed Rapunzel in the ribs. It looks like Merida haven't  changed a single bit since she    became queen of the Vikings. "Oh, my!   Who is that fine young man hiding behind his father's back?" Rapunzel said in a warm, gentle voice. " Hiccup laughed and told his son to step forward. "He is  Prince Eugene." He grinned and bowed    towards Rapunzel politely."Prince Eugene, go run along and play in the backyard with my daughter,Jewel. She would love some company.You can find us in the dining room."Rapunzel said as Eugene trotted along and entered the backyard. "Where is my buddy, King Jackson?" Hiccup questioned as he looked at Rapunzel. "My husband?  He is taking a rest now.Being a king is really tired for him, i guess?"Rapunzel laughed.        Hiccup and Merida smiled too and nodded their head as they  made their way to the dinner room to chat.Eugene walked into the backyard as his face blushed.He would usually be quite shy around people that he has just met.   Jewel soon noticed that Eugene was standing in the middle of the backyard."He...hello. I'm Prince Eugene, its a pleasure to meet you." Eugene made eye contact with Jewel as he waved his hand awkwardly. "Good day, Prince Eugene. I am Princess Jewel, first desendent of the Frosts' .Want to see something cool?" Eugene nodded his head as he walked towards Jewel. She started turning the backyard into a winter wonderland  as snow started falling from the sky, even though it was summer. Jewel has forgotten the promise that she has made to her father. Eugene gasped in wonder and he started to play with Jewel. Jewel formed many snow hills and Eugene would run and jump over them to the next hill that Jewel made. However, Eugene got excited and he started running faster.Before Jewel could create the next  snow hill, Eugene jumped over the last hill that she made. "Wait!" Jewel immediately used her ice powers to form another snow hill,but it was too late. As her cryokinectic power was blasted out from her hand, it went straight for Eugene's   head. Eugene fell on the ground, unconscious. A part of Eugene's hair turned white and his face started turning seriously pale. Jewel screamed as she ran towards him as she held Eugene's body in her arms, kneeling down on the ground. She felt that his body was ice cold.Jack jolted out of bed as soon as he heard Jewel's scream. He briskly put on his cloak and crown as he rushed to the backyard. When he arrived at the backyard, he realised that he wasn't the only person there. Rapunzel,Merida and  Hiccup arrived at the backyard first. "Jack, Jewel used her powers to play with Eugene and there was an accident. What can we do now?! Eugene could die! " Rapunzel exclaimed as cold sweat trickled down her cheeks. Jack ran his fingers through his hair, stressed out.He saw Eugene now in the arms of Merida and Hiccup. "Wake up, Eugene! Don't do this to us!" Merida exclaimed as she sobbed, leaning against Hiccup. Jack walked to them and he started to use his hands to touch Eugene's forehead. Eugene's head started to glow and his face was not pale anymore. "I just used my powers to take away his memory of Jewel's magic and they have to be isolated from each other. You should bring him home to rest now. I sincerely apologised for what Jewel has done." Hiccup and Merida nodded their heads as they left the castle. Jewel stood  beside her  mother all this time and tears started rolling down her cheeks.She did not know that her power can hurt others. Rapunzel and Jack hugged Jewel and comforted her. "Its okay, Jewel, just promise daddy once again not to use your Powers on anyone,anymore alright?" Jack exclaimed. Jewel nodded her head as she started to cry even louder. "Jewel,go wash up,mummy and daddy will tuck you into bed later." Rapunzel soon kissed jewel on the head  and she ran back into the castle, traumatised. Jack made the winter wonderland disappeared and they walked back into the castle. From now on, Jack would take extra caution not  to let anyone know about Jewel's cryokinectic powers.
