Hidden Truths

One Sided Concern

The day had drawn to a close and Roxy was escorted home by two grid Battleforce agents and she barely spoke the whole journey home as she was worried about Blaze as she hadn't seen him nearly the entire day and they always stayed in contact with each other so once she got inside her house, she looked at her phone to see if there were any messages from Blaze and there was still no word from him and looked outside one of the windows in her front room "Blaze, where are you?" She questioned.

Unfortunately for Roxy, her best friend had been captured by her robotic counterpart and had taken him to the Crystal Dimension. Robo-Roxy finally released the cables off Blaze and he shook his arms to make sure they were still alive as they were tie in the cables for a while. Blaze looked around the Crystal Dimension and as he could remember everything his Cybervillain copy did then he had seen they had moved to a new location which was a lot brighter than the Cyber Dimension. "Ok, I'm here now what do you want?" He asked with his arms folded and Robo-Roxy twirled past him "That can wait til the morning, no point attacking when there is no around to witness it." She spoke with a tone of softness in her voice but Blaze didn't seem impressed "You know you and your friends aren't going to get away with this, the Rangers will start looking for me and Roxy will not be happy." He said to her but she giggled "I'm not scared of her of your Ranger friends." She sassed and walked over to him "Also, one thing. If you breathe a word of this to your friends. Your friend is dead." She spoke with a threatening tone to her voice. 

Blaze didn't know what he was going to do as he knew that saying one word would cost Roxy her life and eventually turned to back to her "Fine. What do you need?" He asked with a sigh and Robo-Roxy smiled "Perfect, I'm gonna send you back and I need you to get access to the Rangers weapons and bring them back, they won't be able to fight without them." She grinned and Blaze sighed and Robo-Roxy smiled "Perfecto, now let's get you back." She said holding her Morph-X key and teleported him back to Coral Harbour.  Blaze made a clean landing back in Coral Harbour and made his way to Grid Battleforce knowing that everyone had gone home and he passed Roxy's house on the way and he got so tempted to tell her what had happened but remembered Robo-Roxy's threat "Also, one thing. If you breathe a word of this to your friends. Your friend is dead." Her words were ringing in his head as he walked away from her door "I'm sorry Roxy." He whispered and walked to Grid Battleforce.

The sun rose on another day in Coral Harbour and the Rangers all met up on their way to Grid Battleforce "Morning guys." Zoey beamed and jumped in-between Devon and Nate "Someone's in a good mood." Nate smiled and she smiled back at him "Yeah, I don't even know why." She smiled and they all made their way to Grid Battleforce. They made their way into the building but were greeted by Ben and Betty running towards them and nearly run them off their feet "Guys, what's going on?" Ravi asked and the twins caught their breath "Guys, the lab. It's been robbed!" Betty squeaked due to her loss of breath and all their eyes widened and they ran past Ben and Betty leaving them to fall on the floor and they rushed into the lab and saw that all their weapons had been taken.

"What happened here, all our weapons are gone?" Devon questioned and Steel looked around just in case "Do you think Evox broke in and stole them over night?" He asked and they all turned to him "It's a possibility but we have to get them back, we can't fight Evox and his goons without our weapons." Nate spoke and they all nodded when the Commander and Roxy walked in "Guys...what happened?" She asked and they explained the whole situation to Roxy and she wasn't best impressed with what had happened. "Rangers, you need to find out where your weapons are and get them back immediately." Commander Shaw spoke and they all nodded and Roxy turned to them "I'll help you guys out." She smiled and they all ran out to track down their weapons. 

The Rangers decided to split up into groups of two to cover more areas of the city, Devon went with Steel, Ravi paired up with Nate and Zoey worked with Roxy. Zoey and Roxy walked around the coastal area to try and see if they had buried them somewhere but they couldn't find anything. Zoey could see that Roxy was being unusually quiet as she was always bright and helpful and she walked over to her "Are you ok Roxy?" She asked and she gave her a gentle smile "I'm fine why? She asked and Zoey gave her a small smile "You're still worried about Blaze aren't you" She spoke softly and Roxy nodded whilst looking down and she gave Roxy a hug and Roxy looked up over Zoey's shoulder and saw someone walking just above the coastline and she immediatly recognised the figure and she pulled away from Zoey and ran up the steps leading to the pavement. 

Blaze was taking a quiet walk along the top of the coastline to clear his head after what had happened with Robo-Roxy and he knew he couldn't let Roxy know what had happened the previous night. 

(Flashback)

Blaze slowly walked into Grid Battleforce and thankfully there was no security so he quickly made his way to the lab to do as Robo-Roxy asked even though he didn't have much of a choice, he truly cared about Roxy and couldn't bear to see her hurt so he walked into the lab saw the Rangers weapons attached to the wall and he quickly and quietly grabbed the weapons belonging to the Rangers and put them in his bag and left as quickly as he arrived and he left while walking past the training centre where he, Ravi and Roxy used to train before they were meant to be the Beast Morphers and he remembered all the times him and Roxy had trained together and he smiled to himself at the memory "I have to do this, I'm really sorry Roxy." He sighed to himself and left the building.

He was getting some fresh air clear his head when he felt someone jump on his back which surprised him and the person got off him after a moment and he turned to see that it was Roxy "Blaze, where have you been. I've been so worried about you." She said while gently hitting his chest and he looked straight into her eyes not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry Roxy." He whispered and Roxy looked at him confused "For what?" She asked but he had no idea what to say to her
