"What's the point of living anymore?" asked Sato Sakuya to no one. He was sitting on his bed, legs crossed. He laid down. He had confessed his feelings to his crush today, he got rejected.
"You? As if!" Sakuya remembered her disgusted voice. He sighed, just when he thought his life couldn't get worse. His parents divorced a month ago, after his father was caught in bed with another woman. My life is miserable no matter how you look at it. He had blond hair and green eyes, his mother was an English woman. Because he was biracial, Sakuya was bullied at school constantly. He let himself cry, letting all of his emotions pour out. I'll do it today. I'm ending it. Sakuya opened his closet and threw out all multiple pieces of linen. He tied them together into a rope, then into a noose. He stood on his chair to tie the noose to the clothesline on the ceiling. Let's do this. He took deep breaths. The 16-year-old put the rope around his neck, tightening it. The leathery rope rubbed against his neck. Goodbye world, it was nice knowing you. And he stepped off his chair.
As he hung, tears dripped from his eyes onto the floor. Blood rushed into his head as he was suspended. His throat closed and his life seeped away. His vision blurred. He couldn't tell what he was feeling. He heard an eerie gurgling noise coming from somewhere. Wait, that's me. The boy closed his eyes, letting the last bits of pain slip away. He died of asphyxiation.

Sakuya opened his eyes. Is this Heaven? He blinked. It was not what he was expecting, it was dark. He was standing in a void. Or am I in Hell?
"Sato Sakuya," proclaimed a feminine voice. "You have died." He turned to see where the voice was coming from and was blinded by the sudden flash of light. A woman was floating before him. She had white skin; emanating a golden glow, long flowing locks of white hair, and large eyes of gold that were as intimidating as they were beautiful. The woman stared at him with those golden eyes, drawing his absolute attention. Is she- a goddess?! Sakuya swallowed and stared at the beauty.
"A-are you a goddess?" stuttered Sakuya, his knees trembling. She glided towards him majestically. She is clearly not a human.
"I am Irene." responded the woman. "I am indeed a goddess." The goddess examined him from head to toe, her gaze gentle yet serious. "You poor child, you didn't deserve to die like that." She embraced him, flustering and shocking him. "Sakuya-kun, do you where you are?"
"I have no idea, Irene-sama," replied Sakuya, averting his eyes. "I suppose you will tell me." The goddess nodded and backed away from him. He could still feel the remnant of her warmth.
"You are in the Transfer Chamber," answered Irene, sitting down on a chair that had appeared behind her. "It is a room that connects to all realms." Hang on- is this going where I think this is going? "I assume you know what all this means."
"An isekai? Like those mangas?" exclaimed Sakuya, astonished. "Really?!"
"Yes, Sakuya-kun," replied Irene, "Don't be too excited, the world transfer is quite random, you know?"
"Oh-" Sakuya's shoulders slumped back down in disappointment. "So where will I be going?"
"Hang on, I need to use the random realm picker," said Irene, pulling a small piece of paper. "It takes a few minutes to choose."
