My eyes open to dark blue. I'm confused for a minute, then remember what happened last night.

I opened my eyes, drenched in a cold sweat and gasping for air. I glanced at my alarm clock. 1:17. I sighed, then got out of bed and walked out of my room.

I walked for a minute before coming to a door, which I knocked on. There was no response for a moment. Of course he isn't awake. I knocked again, a little louder this time. I didn't want to wake the others.

When there still wasn't an answer, I opened the door ever so slightly. Sure enough, there was a dark figure fast asleep. I felt a slight blush pop up in my cheeks. I walked into the room, closing the door gently.

Cautiously, I got into the bed. The figure subconsciously shifted to give me room. Their presence was comforting. My eyelids grew heavy and I fell into a dreamless sleep.

I sigh, then throw back the blanket I guess Logan covered me with and head downstairs. Virgil is on the couch, headphones on. Roman is sitting next to him, looking over a script, and Logan is at the table already, reading. His tongue is slightly sticking out from between his lips. I blush slightly before calling out.

"Morning, kiddos!" Roman's head shoots up, Logan glances up at me before quickly looking back down, and Virgil doesn't react.

"Morning, Pat!" Roman replies. Virgil must hear that, because he pushes back his headphones and turns his head to look at me.

"Everything ok, Patton?" he asks. "I felt stress waves coming from your room last night, then I heard walking." I glance away.

"I believe Patton came to my room last night after having a nightmare," Logan replies, not looking up. "While I was rather surprised to see him, this is not the first time this has happened."

"Virge, why were you even awake?" I ask to draw attention away from last night.

"I don't sleep," Virgil really replies with a shrug. "Too much to stress about."

"Really?" I reply, raising an eyebrow. "Because I'm pretty sure I saw you sleeping with your head on Roman's shoulder during the movie last night."

"Th-th-that's different!" Virgil stammers out, his ears red. "Princey's... comforting."

"Ooh~, someone's gay for the second gayest side~!" Remy singsongs from under the table. "The first gayest being me, of course."

"R-Remy!" Virgil exclaims, whirling around to face him. "Could you, like, warn me next time or something?!"

"But you're so funny when you get startled!" Remy whines.

"Remy," I warn.

"Ugh, fine! I'm sorry, Virgil."

"Nah, Rem, you're fine."

"Alright, I'm gonna start on breakfast. Any requests?" Everyone shakes their heads. "Oki doki then!" I skip into the kitchen and get out ingredients, but pause.

"Logie, you wanna help?" I ask, glancing over at my boyfriend. Boyfriend. Just the word is enough to kick up a storm of butterflies in my stomach, which is so strange. We've been together for almost two months now, I should be over this rush, but I guess not everything happens how it should.

"Actually, Patton, I would prefer to do research today, if you do not mind," Logan interrupts. My face falls, but I quickly put a smile back on.

"Alright!" I chirp, and begin working on breakfast alone.
