"Tk"

Tk POV

I saw her walking into my driveway through my kitchen window while I was eating my pancakes. I smiled, seeing her always made me happy. However my smiled turned into a frown because she looked hurt. I dashed out of my house like a speeding train to get to her.

"Maddy are you okay?" I grabbed her shoulders.

"Just take me inside, please," she huffed.

I took Maddy inside and placed her on my couch. She looked sweaty and tired. I saw she had a bruise on her forehead so I went to my bathroom to get my mother's first aid kit.

"Maddy, what happened to you?" I asked as I wiped the bruise on her forehead.

"I accidentally walked into a tree branch while on my way to your house," Maddy laughed shyly.

"Seriously Mads, please don't lie, I doubt a tree branch would do this to your head," I argued.

"Hey, it was a lime tree, those things have thorns," she insisted.

"True," I agreed. "So why did you come here so early, it's 6:30, do you want to look over the project or something?" I asked.

" Yeah, remember I was supposed to come for the flash drive to print off the project onto the multicolored paper? " Maddy raised her eyebrow at me. I was so caught up with the bruise on her head I totally forgot.

"Oh yeah, okay brb," I said running up the stairs. As I opened my bedroom door I couldn't help but to feel uneasy. "I know Maddy is lying, there ain't no way in hell a tree branch could put a bruise like that on her forehead. Something weird is going on with Maddy and I know it has to deal with the day she and her sister got attacked at school.

Maddy POV
"Why is this he taking so long?" I thought to my self. I was very anticipated to get home because the tension between Tk and I was thicker than a snicker. I was also thinking about how to repay him for helping me with my bruise. I mean come on, how was I supposed to tell him that I woke up at 5:30 to give someone back their dog and I remembered to pop by your house to get a flash drive. But on my here someone in a car chased me down and almost ran me over. I for sure couldn't tell him that. I'm just glad my sister decided she was too sleepy to join me after all because something worse could've happened.

"I really hope you didn't lose the flash drive Tk," I said teasingly.

"Hey! I didn't lose it its right here in my hand," Tk then threw the flash drive at me.

"Oh, thank you for the flash drive," I smiled, "and for helping me with my forehead."

"Ofcourse, and um.... Are you gonna walk back home by yourself?" Tk asked. His bubbly smiled turned into an earnest expression.

You could hear the nervousness in my voice when I said, "umm, yeah."

"You don't want me to drive you?" He urged. "Your house is only ten minutes away by car."

" No it's fine, I already caused enough trouble and I don't wanna make you late for school, you don't even have on your clothes yet," I responded walking towards the door.

"You okay Tk?" I asked nervously but he only looked at me and didn't respond. "Well, I guess I'll go now, see you at school."
I turned the door knob but as I opened the door a hand pulled the door back in.

"Tk what the-" before I could finish my sentence Tk spun me around and pinned me against the door. I looked up at him staring at me intensely.

"Wh-wh-what are you doing?" I stuttered.
" Are you gonna tell me what happened to you Maddy?" Tk asked.

"I already told you." I looked away breaking our eye contact.
" Be honest about the bruise on your forehead.... And the day you got attacked at school too," Tk said.

"Please let me go," I cried. But Tk wouldn't move. Since I was so desperate to get out of the situation I did the only thing I could think of. I placed my hand on the door knob and opened the door.... And well, Tk and I fell on the hard pavement. Fortunately for him I broke his fall and now he was lying on top of me.

"Get off!!" I shouted, pushing him off of me. I got up of off the ground and  I ran as fast as I could out of his drive way.  I was some ways down the road when I heard him shout,

"We'll finish this at school then."
