The Red Night

The sky on the south suddenly turned into red, dust mixed into cloud turned them into grey cloud and everyone were panicking, running around and screaming. It was a huge mess. That night would not be forgotten by human race since they were forced to leave their home the heavenly like forests and their hunting ground. From that day, live would never be the same for them.

Earlier on the morning...

The sun shine just came up from the horizon, a big group of brave hunters came to the forest to hunt down their dinners. On the skirt of the forest, the five best human hunters were seen planning their hunt. The leader of the group Yudistira told his brothers his plan to hunt down deer herd.

Yudistira looked at his brothers and pointing to the ground where he had drawn a map with rubbles and branches, "hey, I need you guys to look at the ground." Pointing to the X shaped wood branches, "We are going to led and chase the herds to this pitfall." Moving his finger to a stone behind some stone rubbles representing the herds, "Bima, I need you to hide inside the bushes behind the herds and on my signals your group should make loud voices to startle them. Once they start to make a run, together with my group we will chase them from the behind". Looked at Bima and pat his shoulder, "Bima, I really need your most powerful voice here. We need all of the power from your gut here".

Looking at nakula and sadewa, "Nakula you are going guard the left side and for Sadewa, you are coming from the right. I need both of you to bring lots of spears with you and spread your group to make a wall on both side. You guys have to make sure they will not make a turn and escape from the side". Yudistira explained the plan further, "I need you to put two people hidden in the bushes every ten meters to make sure the deers will not overlap your group with their speed and make a diagonal turn in front of us".

Arjuna silently looked at plan and asked for his part, "what about my group!? What should I do?". Yudistira pointed at a stone in front of the pitfall, "you are going to hide yourself in the bushes in front of the pitfall. I need you to make quick kills once we trap them there. I stationed you there just in case some of them jumped out from the pit. That way you can prevent them to escape from ". Looking at his brothers,"we are going to have a party tonight unless we mess the plan up".

Several hours later...

The hunt ended up as a success, the groups were gathering and enjoying their feast, probably the very first huge BBQ event on human history. As everyone enjoyed their party, no one knows something about to happen that changed their happiness. In the middle of enjoying the meals that night, Arjuna stood up and asked for his folks' attention, "Today ... we can gather here and celebrate the hunt due to my brother brilliant idea. As brilliant as he is, I believe yudistira is deserved to be our leader and be crowned as our king". Upon hearing this, the crowd started to whisper and discuss the idea. Looking at this Yudistira stood up and replied his brother and to the others, "My dear folks, our success today was not solely because of my plan. You guys deserved the credits more than I do. You guys have executed the plan very well. Therefore, I....".

"DUAAARRR !!! Duarrrr!!!!" The ear-splitting sounds suddenly came from hundred miles away to their south of their settlement. This deafening sound had stopped Yudistira's speech and divert all of the attention toward the red sky above Naraka. Groups of birds were seen flying away from the southern sky to the north as if they gave the human a sign to run away, too.

No one could say a word. Everyone lifted their head up to the southern to see their usual dark-night sky had changed into a red-bright sky in a flash. Following the red sky, lots of gray and thick clouds rapidly moving up from the surface. Pouring out from the volcanic ash cloud came out an odd rain. The rain was bright red. These rain were ejected lava and molten rocks that pouring back down to ground from the clouds. At this moment the human races just faced their very first time volcano eruption.
