Chapter 13

The girls and I laughed as we were talking about all of our memories together years back.

"Remember when Luna jumped off the tree and fell on top of me" Arzoo said while we all fell back laughing at the memory. We were always crazy when we were younger and still are.

"Oh my god when Unique had her first kiss and literally thought she was gonna marry him" Uniques face flushed red then bursted our laughing with the rest of us.

"Girl don't act like when you saw mosey you called him ugly cuz of his braids" Vanessa laughed as she pulled out her phone and showed me the video.

"That white boy don't look cute in braids. Lookin like he stole my aunties wig!"

We called down a little bit when all you heard was a gasp. "Ooouuu lets bake!" Bri yelled out as we all smiled and hurried to the car. Wendy took the keys as we went to target.

"To the left to the left! Everything you own in the box to the left!" We all sang.

As we arrived Jazlyn got a cart and jumped in as I pushed her around. "Lets go to the toy section to get games" all of us nodded in agreement and walked there.

Once we got the games we went the the baking aisle. We ended up getting brownies, cookies and two boxes of cake mix to make cupcakes as well. As we were paying I turned around and saw Jay and Royce.

"No bro it goes- oh hey Jazlyn" jay said as he walked towards us. Royce looked down and smiled at me as I smiled back.

"Hey where's your necklace?" Royce asked as the rest turned around to see what he was talking about. I gave him a confused look and looked down at my neck.

"What do you mean I do have on my necklace." I said as I took out my necklace that had my best friends name on it. Jay gave me a confused look.

"That says Julian tho" I nodded my head slowly and looked at him confused. "You got a new man? Not that it's bad" Royce shook his head.

"Stupid it's her best friend that passed away" Royce said as he hit the back of his head. I laughed and moved up in the line. "My bad. But what happened to Lathans?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I took it off" all the girls started clapping while saying amen. Royce smiled and looked at me. "That's good! You see your trying to move on!" Jay smiled and nodded in agreement.

"We gonna go to your house and bake with y'all" Jay said as he put his arm around Miera. "Boy get yo ugly arm off of me"

I shook my head as I helped Wendy and Vanessa scan the things we got to go home.
