Jamie's POV
My life is okay but not the best, I live in london, I have no mum she passed away a couple of months ago because of cancer, when I lost her, I struggled a lot I was going through the phase of self harming which did help me get through the pain of losing my mum, but i'd relised that it was wrong and successfully stopped but left scars which I keep covered. Before my mum past my dad walked out on us as he found someone else, after that I never spoke to him, I dont even think I remember what he looks like. I am the only child, which im kinda grateful for because it would be harder looking after a younger brother/ sister without a mum, but meaning my house is in slience 24/7.
In the end I ended up with an amazing best friend who helpped me get through it all, her name is Ali, if it wasnt for her I wouldnt be here. We both go to the same school, and she lives a couple of doors away from me, so whenever i need her she always there, her mum is like a second mum to me which im really grateful about it.
