Chapter 1- Morning :)
Camille's P.O.V.
"CAMI! wake up you lazy ass! Your audition is today!" Ugh why the hell does Brian have to jump on my bed to wake me up?
"Brian get off my bed now or I will personally trip you in front of a certain you know who." I said smirking as I sat up rubbing my eyes. I hate mornings. Brian took one look at my smirk and quickly jumped off my bed.
"Mom says we need to leave in an hour to get in line for you audition, so start your morning routine my lovely beauty queen." Brian said bowing.
"Nice try B-Hole but I'm not making you breakfast" I ruffled Brian's hair and walked into the bathroom. I had showered and curled my hair the night before so I just needed to touch it up and do my makeup. I splashed cold water on my face to wake my self up. I quickly re-curled parts of my hair and brushed it out and then applied my makeup. When I was done in the bathroom I walked back in my room. I still had 45 minutes until I had to leave so I decided to go over my audition song a couple more times before getting dressed.
The song I picked is a bit of risk, seeing as it was by a band signed by Simon Cowell, but I really felt that I could put my own twist on it and hopefully make the judges fall in love with me. I'm sure by now you've heard the song 'Live While We're Young' by One Direction, that's my audition song. I'm a little nervous about it but I chose that song because I think it suits my voice.
Luckily my brother and parents went out for breakfast so they wouldn't hear me practicing, I wanted my audition to be a surprise. I got dressed quickly in some cute light blue, vintage high waisted shorts, a crop top from Lavish Alice that was pink and green, a cream colored cardigan, and some studded shoes. I quickly did a once over in the mirror to make sure everything was perfect before I went downstairs. My family was still out so I just grabbed some left over food and ate it quickly.
At around 7:45 my parents texted me to come outside so they could drive me to where the auditions were being held. I took a deep breath and walked out of the house, locking the door behind me.
The entire car ride I listened to my arrangement of my audition song over and over again. Brian was being a little shit and texting all his friends including me, about the dumbest things he could possibly think of. I kept smacking him over the top of his head, but he wouldn't shut up.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I noticed the car had stopped. Brian yanked out my headphones and yelled for me to get out of the car. I slowly slipped out of the car and straightened out my clothes and hair. My parents smiled at me and motioned for me to follow them to get in the line.
I scanned out all the faces who were in line ahead of me and behind me. Most people looked nervous, I could tell by their body language which consisted of shifting feet constantly, biting their nails, and some twiddling their fingers together. One of the guys behind me looked like he could be in a boy band with his stance and side-swept hair. He looked over and grinned widely at me. It resulted in me looking away quickly, creepy much? I looked over at Brian who was smiling down at his phone. I walked up behind him and leaned over his shoulder.
"Hey Briberry, who ya talkin' to?" He whipped his head up quickly and glared at me.
"Nobody. Go away dip shit."
I looked at him with a dramatically shocked face.
"Now Brian, I'm sure Meredith wouldn't be too happy with that you called me, her favorite 16 year old in the entire world, a dip shit, Do you?" He looked back at me, then at his phone. I gave him my famous puppy-dog eyes that nobody, including Brian, could resist.
