"I'm Fine..."

Chapter 1

I looked at the clock.

1:45

Only fifteen minutes left until my weekend starts.

"Pssst... Asshhhhhtonn."

I look around to where the sound came from and I see my best friend Calum pointing at his phone. Suddenly, I hear my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pull it out to see a message from Calum.

"Dude I'm havin a party tonightt! Be there @ 8. ;)"

"Okay. Why the winky face ? O.o"

I wait for his response. He has been acting pretty strange lately, I don't know why I was surprised. I get my response from him.

"Why not?"

I decide to just ignore it, I'll ask him at the party later. I look back at the clock to see it's 1:55. Jeeze, five minutes.

You see, I'm not gonna try and be conceited here but there are many girls- and guys, that want me. Not that I would mind doing all of them, but, I have a reputation to maintain. Around here I'm known as that guy who doesn't date. I just never felt the need to since year 10. I'm in year 12 now, last dreadful year of this school.

RINGG!

FINALLY! The bell rings as I grab my things and head out the door, and out of the school. All of my friends either take the bus or drive home, but it's nice outside today so I decide to walk.
I start to play music from my phone, not bothering to put headphones in. I look to the road and see this girl with pastel blue hair texting and walking along the side walk. She looks about a year younger than me, and her outfit is on point. A red tank top, black skinny jeans and black converse boots. It may not seem like much but on this girl.. Damn.
She starts to cross the street- still texting. I see a car coming as she drops her phone. she bends down to get it but I'm running towards her. "Look out!" I runs and pull the girl out of the road. "Oh my god, are you okay?"
"I'm fine..." She answers as the car zooms past us.
