SYLVIA VON STRUCKER NEEDS A WAKE-UP CALL. Or maybe she's already had one. Her life is, pretty much, an absolute shit show to be gawked at by the masses. Girls like Sylvia don't get a happy ending.
She's supposed to be wired differently than the average eighteen year old, to not bat an eye when she sees her grandfather put a gun against an innocent man's skull. She's not meant to frown when he pulls the trigger with a wicked grin. Her spine is pins and needles. Her brain is rotting itself inside out.
That's what they've always wanted, anyway. A mindless doll, too broken and battered than to ever protest when push comes to shove, to which they could pull the strings as they pleased. Someone that would kill for the organization at the snap of a finger.
Yet despite her horrifically twisted childhood, and all of her family's gruesome attempts to convince the girl that HYDRA is paving the way for a better world. She's not wicked. It didn't work. Does it make her a terrible person to wish that it did?
The problem is . . . regardless of what everyone else wants her to feel, Sylvia Von Strucker (kinda?) has a moral compass. She's a fake good guy, a hoax, pretending to be someone she's not for the sole purpose of avoiding the possibility that she'd be their next victim if one wrong word slipped out. Having the guts to go against her grandfather is simply not in the cards for a coward such as herself . . .
That's how life goes when you're a guilt ridden little girl with anger issues that soar out to fucking outer space. That's how life goes when you're the granddaughter of the sickest, most twisted man that's ever walked the earth.
But how does life go when he's dead? How does life go when his cronies send you out to retrieve his experiments gone wrong?
