❝ You never fall in love by yourself, love captures you. Love comes to you when you don't need it really, and it comes to an end when you need it the most. ❞

I feel drowsy. My eyes are still heavy from sleep. I lift myself up, and lean my back on the backboard of the bed. I try to rub my eyes, hoping that it will make my vision cloudless. As usual, it didn't work. I honestly don't want to get out of bed, it is so warm, comfy, and fluffy. Sadly, I have to get up to go to school.
I get up and walk to my closet. I open a box that I have in the corner and shuffle my hands inside the box. I pick out a random piece of narrow paper. "Casual".
I have this box because I can never determine what I want to wear, so I made a box and put a variety of themes inside of it. Every Monday I pick one of these papers and that will be my theme for the week. It was a really simple to decide outfits after that.
I look around in my closet for something that says casual to me.
I would usually just scroll through Instagram to find a hairstyle, but I like my hair down with this outfit. I quickly apply some makeup-- hardly anything, just some mascara and some tinted lip gloss.
I walk to school and home everyday. My mom always tries to persuade me to let her drive me, but I have freedom, and I wanted to walk. I enjoy looking at the aesthetics of nature. It reminds me that nature is the most beautiful entity. Nature surpasses the beauty of every person in this world combined.
I finally arrive at school, with no strength in me. My house is pretty far away from the school, but it's good to exercise everyday. Walking may not be part of my daily exercise routine, but I still believe it is good to include it in everyday life.
I still somehow got to school early. I sit on a bench and grab my phone out of my book-bag. Before I open my phone, I look around at everyone else who got to school early. They are all crowded around something-- or, someone?
- "Jennie!" a soft, mellow voice calls out. I look in the direction of the voice and see my best friend, Rose.
- "Hey Rosie. Do you know what's happening over there?" I ask her, directing my finger towards the crowd.
- "I checked it out, apparently some super hot new kid is here and all the girls are fangirling." she explains, sitting next to me.
- "That's dumb. It's just a guy."
Rose gives me a sympathetic look, "I don't know Jen, he is cute. But not cute enough to warrant so much attention." I like that Rose isn't afraid to point out her opinion when she disagrees with me, I appreciate that.
- "I haven't seen him with my own eyes," I point at my eyes, "but even I thought he was cute, he wouldn't deserve that much attention for his looks. For all we know, he could have a nasty personality." Rose smiles at me. I like her smile, it's small and soft.
Me and Rose, who I call Rosie most of the time, talk about what happened over the weekend. She and her sister went to the carnival Sunday afternoon. I just stayed home, eating chocolate and scrolling through old messages, or scrolling through Instagram.

First 2 classes are over, and surprisingly quick, so I make my way down to the cafe that's down the town with Rosie and her friend, Lisa. Rosie forgot her lunch and Lisa forgot her lunch money, so I told them I would buy us all lunch.
I watch Rosie eat. She loves eating, and her facial expressions say it all. Even with the most simplest foods, she looks so indulged in eating. Lisa and I exchange looks as we laugh out loud at the sound effects Rosie makes when she enjoys food.
All 3 of us talk about our favorite K-Pop songs. We aren't that similar at all, but the small similarities we share make it easy to talk to each other. I enjoy the small things about friendships-- I enjoy the small things in life on a whole.

School was never that bad like a lot of people imagine. I genuinely enjoy learning, and I like being able to interact with people. School was easy and dull, besides the whole thing with the new boy this morning.
Nothing particularly interesting happens at my school. Something happens every once in a while, but we all usually forget it happened.
I start my walk home, looking at all the birds that soar in the sky. I put one earbud in my ear and listen to the same piano music I listen to when I study.
As I'm walking, something flies past me, knocking me down. I look in front of me and see a bike. I grunt and and collect myself. 'They could have at least said sorry'I grunt. I surprise myself with my duality. One moment I am happy and cheerful, the next I am serious and bossy.
I look at the back of the person who knocked me down.

So, I was reading some tips on how to make an interesting romance story, and I used them throughout this chapter. I made descriptive words and words I think show the main characters (Jennie) personality- in italic. So much sure you keep on paying attention to those. I think it is obvious that Jungkook is the love interest, but I want to wait until the next chapter to actually introduce him. If you like where this story is going, please love some sweet comments or drop a vote, either one is helpful to me!
